Im relatively new to making custom content, but I have a couple successful CC items. I am working on a swimsuit and I dont know how to get the mesh to sit flat and smooth against the sim. As you can see, it looks very lumpy. I am using marvelous designer 7 and blender 2.78 as well as 2.70. I have also been using Seb’s Comprehensive Clothing Guide as a reference when making CC. How I want it to look (S4S) i.imgur.com/tX0fpUc.pngHow it looks in CAS i.imgur.com/fy8cbTS.pngi.imgur.com/YsfDRIG.pngI would really appreciate some help or any resources I can look at to achieve a better looking mesh

Thank you so much! This got rid of my lumpy issue but now the mesh isnt stretching properly when I use the sliders. I used a retopologized mesh. imgur.com/a/YqlGNpIWhat could be causing this issue? I tried moving the uv_1 mesh into the right spot over the map but it didn't seem to do anything

Hi. - select one face on every pattern of your swimsuit, press Ctrl L to select the rest; - once you have all parts of the swimsuit selected, press P and choose Selection to separate; - select the swimsuit, add Data transfer modifier, choose the body as Source Object, set it just like in the image, apply; Do not move the uv islands in a uv_1 map after transferring them. Open a uv_1 map of any maxis outfit and you will see that it should look the way it does after transfer. If it stretches along the seams, you can select those faces, disable sync (the icon before vertex select in UV Editor), and move these vertices to their right place. To avoid this issue always make sure there is an edge loop on the garment right along the seam on the body Once done, delete all parts of the body covered by the swimsuit. Combine both

Thank you! Setting it to 'nearest face interpolated' instead of the other option used in most tutorials seemed to have done the trick. I honestly cant thank you guys enough for your help!!!
