I'm a beginner to meshing society ( after learning some basic from blender tutorial web ). Since I have practiced using Sims 4 studio for few weeks , I decide to add a mesh to existing clothing mesh to add a realistic dimension ( not just texturing on flat 2D mesh ).
Are there any tips or what i have to know before doing this.
Sorry for not specific the problem and My poor English skill.

Hi monkeysimmy, if you're new to making meshes for Sims 4 perhaps try one of the tutorials in the CAS tutorials section first to get started. The projects in these tutorials will give you a general idea of what is involved. Clothes meshes are more difficult than accessory meshes so I would suggest the start to finish accessory tutorial that I wrote. It goes over the basic components of CAS meshes
Please help other creators find Sims 4 Studio and receive the help you received by mentioning Sims 4 Studio with your downloads Please do not PM me with questions about projects or getting Studio to run on your computer. I do not answer these PMs.
If you know what you are doing meaning that you understand how to use 3D program, assign bones etc. I would say that you need to think who are you editing this mesh for. If you edit it for yourself and you have a good new computer with high end graphic card, you can go with polygons probably as high as you want (but be wise about this). If you are planning to share your creations, think about other users. Some of them (like me) use laptops so high poly mesh might fry my graphic card. Or if you are still planning to do high poly mesh (if you are planning to add something to make it less flat than it's obviously will be much higher than original EA mesh) and share with other users, I suggest always put some warning about poly count. Hope it helps.
Please don't DM me here or elsewhere asking for assistance with Ninjaripper or CC. I don't work in Ninjaripper anymore. Please post your questions in Creator Help thread so everyone can chime in and help solving the problem
