Why is anybody still using adfly?
I tried to doiwnload some custom content today and the download was processed through adfly. First it wanted me to disable my adblocker, but that isn't going to happen because lesson learned after third time doing so and getting a virus. The something called Power App wanted to install as a google chrome extension, but I checked the play store and no such extension exists. And finally it wanted me to click allow to prove I wasn't a robot, but what clicking allow would have done was let a sight called Ughmortanth.info, a known malware/adware sight install on my computer, needless to say I shut it down and immeidiately ran virus and malware software, I was lucky this time but not everyone would know to check the address in the a"prove you are human" popup

Here's what I've learned about using Adfly: Never click any pop ups unless it's to close them. However some aren't even real pop ups, they are just new tabs that you should delete and not click the x or red circle. Mute the volume because sometimes it makes a high pitched ringing sound when a fake virus detected message appears. Finally, unless something comes up that you NEED to delete, like the new tabs, don't click anything until the time is up and you can continue to your download page. Adfly sucks and I don't understand why creators make other simmers go through that kind of stress. It's really good that you have anti virus software though. Happy simming, and good luck with future Adfly encounters! I totally understand if you want to stay away from it as a whole, but this should help

I hate adfly too. I use Universal Bypass, an extension for Chrome. It skips adfly for me (and other loading pages) and shows me the link directly. Give it a try + it's available for other browsers. universal-bypass.org/install
