Hey guys, so I've started learning to animate in blender but I'm having such a hard time and I've had no luck with getting help from anyone.
I'm following tutorials and I've learnt a few things but I'm having issues with using IK. The sim is standing with their feet wide apart, I made one IK in the sims right foot, so that foot stays put. I want to do the same for the sims left foot but when I go ahead and add an IK to their left foot, it moves in place to their right foot like as if they're stuck together.
Can someone please help me on how I can get this done? I've been asking all around but I keep being given the tutorials that I'm already following instead of getting help or advice.
Thank you T_T

Hi, Are you using empties in you current setup? So, are you targetting empty objects in the IK constraint target section? You might be better off creating a custom Rig setup, where IK in its more traditional sense can be used to change bone dependencies within the rig. (If the above picture works as a gif) This is the sort of thing I mean, where the foot acts more like the Root bone but only to a certain point on the leg. This is an IK chain like those seen in a lot of professional animation Rigs. Which tutorials are you following right now? What do they use to achieve an IK set up?
Just in case that gif doesn't work here are some screencaps:
