I'm having trouble with the second paragraph. Can not export the mesh in the second program. Everything has been tried. 2_ Open the dress blend file and append the mesh of the skirt. The skirt has only one geometry. Check my other tutorial where I show how to append a mesh. Explain in case it is not good ( later) Append function: The App end function is used to import meshes between Blend files. To do so in object mode press shift+F1 and select the blend file where your mesh is. Click on objects and double click on the mesh name. It will be imported without loosing information

UN, the tutorial looks great, but I am one of those people who can't learn things very well simply by reading about them, I personally learn much better by watching how things are done with a verbal explanation as the teacher is going through the process. Any chance you'd consider doing a step by step video tutorial of how you do something like this from the beginning (including appending)? I really want to start to learn how to mesh things like clothing and objects, but honestly it's really hard to find any good tutorial videos that don't assume you are already intimately familiar with blender. Blender confuses the heck out of me. Have fun !

Hi, I understand that but I never did a video tutorial so I'm not really sure I can do it. I can stream and show how to do it would it be ok? UN

Hey Un, that would be great. Also while I haven't used my own twitch channel in ages myself, I think when you stream on twitch it automatically creates a video save that people can watch at other times, so you'd essentially be killing two birds with one stone. If and when you do stream, please let me know. You can reach me directly via tumblr. Have fun !

Hi, I'm trying to follow the tutorial but the pictures aren't loading and I'm getting a bit confused. Is there any chance that the pictures will get updated/rehosted? Thanks

Hi nilesse, UN posted all his images using Photobucket, which was a free host when he posted this tutorial. Recently, Photobucket decided to renege on their offer of hosting and, in the process, shitcanned all images hosted with them. It's sort of unclear to me why they chose to do this as I can only imagine they will get, deservedly, a backlash against them. I cannot promise to fix the issue caused by Photobucket in the near future as everyone trusted them and they stabbed a lot of people in the back. No one here has $400 to give this backstabbing site (Photobucket) to rescue the images they have sabotaged.

Ah, that's too bad. I'll try to figure it out using the text only then. Thanks anyway!
