Hello! This is my first post here, so please forgive me if I'm breaking any rules. I'm trying to read the rules as I do this and also get some help for this problem that's currently ruining my game.
Originally, this problem started off only with Spellcasters and Mermaids. I noticed it when my Spellcaster sim had a baby and when it grew into a teen, it's face was just missing. No face, only teeth visible (some randos eyeballs spawned too) and their preset hairstyle. Then I started noticing it with random townies who were also Spellcasters and Mermaids. I tried looking around online for a solution; the only thing I can find is everyone saying the same thing - remove the No EA Eyelashes mod. I've never had a mod like that, so I didn't know where to look at that point. I only had Kijiko's eyelashes, so I tried removing those. That didn't work. I tried downloading a mod to allow all eye colors for all occults, because I read somewhere that missing faces on occult sims were caused by some glitch in the code where the occult eye colors couldn't be found. That also didn't work.
I downloaded S4S after doing a bit more research about fixing CC and I thought, maybe if I do some of the batch fixes (most of the ones I set out to do seemed to work) and disallow CC for randoms, the default will stop looking for whatever is obviously missing and instead look for an EA default.
No. Now all random, homeless townies are spawning without faces, regardless of occult, and my sim's kid, who's human, had a face as a toddler and child, but now as a teen it's missing.
I'm getting frustrated. Definitely not blaming S4S or anyone else here; this is totally my doing. I don't want to do the whole 50/50 thing yet; it's definitely my last resort due to the amount of mods and CC that I have on my game. I'm hoping that someone can point me in the right direction to start looking or start repairing? I'm thinking I'll do a batch fix reverse to see if that helps with the overwhelming demonic townies, but I would like to get whatever it is removed completely so that I can get everyone looking normal again. The only thing that fixes this, I've found, is going in game and using MCCC to edit in CAS, and set their face to a preset EA face. This would work BEFORE I did the batch fix for all of the sim's outfits; now, after the batch fix, I have to go into each outfit and reset the face. And I don't really want to do that with my sims' kids.

I am well aware I will most likely have to go digging through my CC to find the problem; I'm just hoping that if you have some knowledge about programming you can tell me what might be missing/broken/outdated to cause this kind of glitch, so that I can look in the right place (i.e. skins, eyes, mods, tattooes, etc.)
