Good evening everyone!
My name is Sara, I'm 24 years old, I'm Italian and I'm a fan of the sims saga!
I play every day at the sims 4 even though my favorite is The sims 2

Your situation is very similar to a lot of other members (i.e. playing sims 4 the most but liking sims 2 the best). Sims 2 was a pretty awesome game, it's sad that it's so hard to get and the version they have on origin* is really buggy. 

I have a lot of fond memories of the game and I hope you develop fond memories with your time here!

*You can get the Sims 2 Complete Collection through a redeemable code that happened a couple of years back or by contacting Origin and requesting to put your Sims 2 game on Origin if you own a physical copy of at least one of the Sims 2 games.

with the difference that I have never presented myself and since I already have many steps traveled I do not want to do it haha

anyway ... so you want to do cc and mods? mmm mm ..
making personalized content is great and ... complicated for some (me) you need to learn the basics of recolors, that is, you should start there
If you want to make clothes it's also great to look for patterns or make them yourself
example: you could scan an image maybe and use it as a pattern using this tutorial: sims4studio.com/thread/13638/create-own-seamless-patterns-photoshop

also look for them online or buy them

when you know how to do that, you start with blender
Basic functions:

(Quick commands save really I tell you) There are many tutorials of basic functions such as move, drag, duplicate

then you should keep the uv form in mind, study it well

for the mods ... it's also quite ... complex but I know you can do it!

you have to keep in mind that if you want to make script mods you know that the python version will change


but if you want to make a trait that you know that to begin with I know for sure the version of zerbu serves and a lot

then you can make your own traits without the zerbu program by always reading the personalized guide of the sims 4

It's awesome to hear how excited you are to making CC and, with some practice and persistence, you'll be making awesome content in no time! The tutorials are a great place to start so you can become acquainted with the S4S application (and Blender if you plan on making or editting meshes), which you can find HERE. If you get stuck on anything, feel free to ask for help in this form HERE.

I also really liked the Parenting pack (though, I'm a sucker for vampires so I like that Game Pack the most) and the Goths are definitely a fan favorite considering how often they've appeared in all iterations of the Sims!
