Hi. I'm Ellie. And I recolour things. I also feel horribly, horribly guilty for coming to hang around here while my DAO recolour mod is not progressing anywhere :D I just downloaded your tool and recoloured myself (and hubby) a round Deathstar rug! Huzzaah! Hello Ellie and welcome! Recoloring items is a big part of s4s and is one of it's main uses. Besides one mod, I've only done recolors as well. All creations are all good in this community and we're glad to have you a part of it! |

I'm newbie. My niece want to put on new fashions from YouTube video. They are for older version of Sims game. Well I'm installing Sims4 for the first time on my desktop. My niece plays Sim4 on my laptop since last December with cats & dogs package. I'm going to ask question that I be afraid to ask in person. Question will be from my young fashionista as she tell me. Maybe there is something to learn from this game. To age with dignity.

My introduction is close to my niece fashion wants, I'm not sure either. She see presenter CC, and others designers. Theses mods didn't work, for other gamer of Sims4, the game crash.
I hope to show her Sims4Studio before the next upgrade for Sims4. There is a buzz on the net about Style Influencer tool. The learning curve steep and logical help docs. Thank you for the links and your quick reply.

A great way to learn the ropes is to check out our tutorials which you can find HERE. Through the tutorials, you are able to practice using S4S as well as Blender (if she plans on making meshes). I hope your niece is able to make awesome things with this tool! |

I just noticed that most of the Sims 4 graphics are very, very small in size. Like 256x256. Is it a performance issue if they are bigger? I was thinking 1024x1024 which by modern standards is still fairly small and low quality. Derp, sorry, this isn't prolly the place for this question  |

Hello I'm Dreama. I'm a computation physics major and I draw and play sims when I'm not regretting going to school.
I mostly just make sims of my favorite characters and watch them interact so I can cry about it. I love ts4, even with its shortcomings, though the way that EA treats the game makes me resent it a bit as I feel like the company doesn't really care about making a quality game anymore.
What else... I've mostly been doing recolors and mesh modifications for myself, as well as updating old mods. Usually I don't post any of these since they're either personal made for my sims, or use assets from other simmers that I can't take credit of. I want to start making my own meshes, but I kinda suck at blender so progress is slow. Still, I'm interested and I like playing around with Sims 4 Studio to see what I can make.
That's about it. Please message me or follow me on tumbr (dreamadoe or dreamasims). I don't actually have any friends that also like TS4 so I'd love to have someone to talk to <3

Hello I'm new and plan on doing recolours once I've figured it out. Hello and welcome! Since the Sims 4 doesn't have any kind of color wheel, many of us find the ability to recolor with the s4s a great tool! The process is pretty simple, you can find a tutorial on how to do it HERE. Photoshop is recommended, but if you can't use it, I recommend pixlr, a free photo editting program that has a lot of the functions of photoshop. I hope you're able to figure it out! Best wishes! |
