Hi im Stassi new here and been playing sims for years, I want to learn how to create cc which brought me here! I'm having trouble downloading the studio though on my computer and figuring out the correct paths though. Nice to meet everyone!!

Hi hdelacruzpp, welcome. If you're having an issue with your game, the best place to post about that is in our Sims 4 Chat section.  Hi idontlikesand, welcome. Studio will eventually add the ability to easily recolor pool trims. Lately, work has been focused on dealing with the updates EA made to makeup files, but we'll get there. Hi, I'm not exactly new here. I've already running for some time here too. I just haven’t had conversation with anyone in here. My apologies.
So I am a middle-aged woman from Finland, and if my text has typos or other errors, it is because to the fact that I'm not (at least in my opinion) very good at English, and quite often I use google translators (yep, yep, turn everything always wrong and/or strangely) with my help, in addition to my husband.
I've also been playing Sims since I got my first The Sims 2 game.

Hello, I'm Michelle. New here. Been a simmer since the beginning. My favorite thing is builds and decorating. Used to create and edit content with the sims 3, but that became more difficult with the sims 4. Finally jumping in on creating my own CC. New to the Sims 4 Studio. I've been watching tutorials, but having trouble with what I would assume are some easy edits. Looking forward to engaging with the community here.

Hi!! My name is Heather! I've been playing the Sims literally from day one of the very first incarnation of the game. I used to create custom content back in the Sims 2 & the Sims 3, purely for my own enjoyment. But then I got busy with life and well, never got back into it. That is, until I decided it'd be a nice surprise for my dog's twitter followers to make some custom photo frame recolors with his photos and various bits of art of him. (Yeah, so um, I'm one of those crazy people who has a social media account for their pet. It started as a joke when a friend said my own personal twitter went from "cool art, projects, and entrepreneurship to dog, dog, nothing but dog." So I started one thinking I'd run it for two weeks as a funny ha-ha, and then it um, kinda blew up. 10,000 followers later and well, here I am, making Sims custom CC for them...) Anyway! I had so much fun making Sims stuff with my dog's happy fluffy face that then I thought, hey, I'd sure love to have some new art for my sims' homes! I started making recolors from George Hurrell photography, Alberto Vargas pin ups from the 1940's, and my personal favorite obscure plus-size pin up, Hilda by Duane Bryers. After I did that, I started happily decorating my house and fell in love with the new Violetta sofa from the Paranormal pack. But I absolutely *hated* the colors it came in. That quickly devolved into making designer throw blankets and knit pillows and I finally had to admit to myself, I'm definitely right back into my obsession with the Sims! I showed some of my creations to a friend who's a regular Sims CC creator and she suggested I come here and share some of my stuff. Thus here I am, introducing myself. I can't wait to share my creations, see what ya'll have made, and dive right into the community, if you'll have me. Thanks! And btw, here's my happy fluffy dog. His name is Tyberius and he says hi!  |

Hey all! I guess I'll go by the nick fetaplop here.. :D I'm a university student in natural sciences and computer engineering and I'm currently using quite a lot of time with my heavily modded sims 4 game. I'm quite into building and sometimes take nocturnal wikipedia plunges into history of architecture and such, but I also like to play with different kind of characters and do some actual gameplay because mods improve the game enough for it to be enjoyable. I did play the first two Sims games as a kid when my dear big brother downloaded them for me but can't say I remember much. I've been programming before but I'm completely new to sims modding so I'll have to start from zero and I'd be glad to find some helpful people here if I run into issues that I can't crack myself. I have a lot of ideas but I'll probably stick to tuning mods at first and maybe start by trying to create traits with Zerbu's mod constructor and later try my hand at s4s when I get more comfortable with XML. So far I have no idea how to create cc but I'm also curious about learning Blender and creating some new stuff to possibly go with some of the mods I'm dreaming of. Obviously I'd be happy to chat with like-minded folks and I'm sure there are lots of cool, creative people here! Oh and, that little thing, I'm not exactly neurotypical so please bear with me if I'm sometimes slow to reply! I just forget a lot.. Don't know how to end these intro thingys so I'll wrap this up by sharing with you guys that one of my simself traits would definitely be Cat Lover! <3 (P.S. I'm not yet sure if there's a proper DM functionality on this forum but I think I spotted a Finn out there and I just wanted to mention that you're more than welcome to message me if you're struggling to find words for something in English!) |

Hi, everyone! I've been a Sims player since the very first Sims! I'm a crafty mom to two beautiful grown daughters and grandma to five amazing grandchildren. I wish I knew how to create my own Sims 4 items or even learn to recolour. Maybe someday.

hi everyone, i'm amy.
i am a 17 year old girl living in sweden. i've been playing the sims as far as i can remember and still love it today. i have been obsessed with cc ever since 2015 when i bought the sims 4. now, i've decided to step up my game and create cc myself as there's a lot i'm still missing.
i am a complete beginner, which means i haven't got any pages set up yet, although i'm working on it.
other than the sims, i love to draw, interior designing and building overall. i am a figure skater and has been ever since 13 years back - i do work at the rink aswell as an instructor / coach on the weekends. as i am "only" 17, i go to school and the studies are really intense right now which makes it quite hard to put 100% time into creating cc.
i am really looking forward to be in this community and develop as a cc creator,

Hi, I am Jolanda (The Sorceress/Sorcie) and back at simming since I stopped when TS4 came out. Before that I have been creating for the sims from TS1. I love making walls, floors, terrainpaints and recolor rugs and paintings. It is awesome to see so many "oldtimers" like me still playing and creating and I realize how much I have missed it. So I am trying to catch up on how to create for TS4 and find as much info as I can  In RL I am married have 2 adult kids a son and a daughter, and a proud grandmother of my adorable 1-year old granddaughter and a baby to be born in august  |
