Welcome to the forum 9b8ll I am glad that you are enjoying S4S. Sims 4 Studio is doing CAS meshes through Blender instead of Milkshape which means it can retain all of the features that would get stripped off in MilkShape. You should give it a try.

Does it include and add all Cas Morphs for example, fat and fit + Preg morphs? And is there an easy way to convert bone assignments in blender, sorry if this sounds dumb?

Ciao. Sorry for bad english I'm Italian. This is some google translation I like the new pose and animation addon of Sims Studio.I'm not an animator but I like convert motion. I try with Sims 4 but I have some problem with the Size of Rig.I have a old version of 3dsmax 2010 for my conversion. Every time I have a distorted motion when I transfer 3DSMAX->Blender Thanks for all member of sims studio. And thanks to orangemittens because help me sometimes with Sims 3 Clip I have a little blog for my Sims 3 conversion link

Hi everyone!
I have been playing the Sims since Sims 1, and am on most of the major forums but I rarely post... I was looking for a way to make my own recolors or defaults for paintings in Sims 4, and then decided it was about time I started to learn to do things myself!
So here I am, I already have Gimp and am installing the Sims Studio. This is a wonderful site with great tutorials and friendly people, I am so glad to be here. Maybe someday I can make a custom item for other people! If my triplets leave me any "free time", of course, haha.
That's about all for now... off to try to make some Green Day posters, Billie Joe has pretty eyes so he needs a big picture in my Sim bedroom (wink).
One question: I'm not advanced yet in the game, does Sims 4 allow you to paint other Sims' portraits, as in 2? I didn't play Sims 3 much so I don't know if this becomes an option as Painting skill advances.
Cheers! -Karen

Welcome to the forum umpa. What process are you using to transfer?

9b8ll, Sims 4 doesn't have morphs like Sims 3 did. The in-game sliders get information from the second UV that you see in each CAS item. Brujah wrote a tutorial showing how to transfer bone weights using Blender and Sims 4 Studio and posted it in the tutorials forum here umpa, it's great to see you here...welcome to the Studio forums hi karen, welcome to the Studio forums...it's great to meet you. Triplets!...wow what a handful. I haven't had the chance to play Sims 4 very much yet because I'm always busy with Studio I think Sims could do this in Sims 3 though.

Howdy I'm Simloleon, otherwise known as Eon. I've been playing since sims 1 and have been fiddling with creating stuff since sims 2. However since 4 has been out is the first time that I've been releasing my creations to the public. I also made a tutorial a while back for mtf hair conversions, which is found on my tumblr ahaha. I really like the ease with which sims 4 studio helps me create things and the fact that it uses blender instead of milkshape for mesh. It's a fantastic tool.

Hi! I'm QueenKelsey, I've been playing and using CC and Mods since Sims 2 but other than some recolors I haven't done much modding for the Sims. After getting the Sims 4 I decided to get into modding for it. I hope to learn a lot.
