Hi I am Deestar.. I have done some creating for Sims 2, and 3 (hated creating for 3 as it required to many programs and I was not comfortable with Milkshape.. since my TS2 meshing was all done in Wings and Blender) and the teensiest itty bit for Sims 1 (one set of wallpaper for CTO) . While I do know how to mesh new objects I prefer making recolors.. giving the same old same old EAXIS stuff or the pretty things made by other creators a new twist by taking something modern and making it shabby chic or taking something urban industrial and turning it into a grunge object is much more fun than meshing for me.. meshing is one long nightmare of headdesking followed by hairpulling and lots of screaming for me .. so may not inflict the pain upon myself for TS4 (once changes for S4S allowing new meshes in and out of game are implemented or TSRW4 is publicly released)..
I also do a bit of building here and there (some things about TS4 build mode I like others are kind of mehh) and am looking forward to seeing what the Sims Team do with the game now that its out
I used to be a resident creator over at Sailfinsims but stopped making stuff for Sims 3 and am retired as a RC at the moment (planning to start uploading stuff again) .. I am glad to finally have a tool that makes creating for Ts4 as easy as I found it to be for TS2 .. so easy my first creation in two years began with one recolored chair and has snowballed into an 11 item recolor set . Nice to meet everyone

Hello my name is Cristina, Kirsty for friends, I play The Sims 3 and The Sims 4 and I'd like to dedicate to creating custom content. Use easy photo editing programs in 2D, but I'd like to learn to use programs in 3D and try to create something. Sorry for my English, but it is not my language, I apologize in advance for my errors.

Hi Cristina! Welcome to the forum! I'm excited to see you're eager to create 3D. The tutorial section has a lot of great visual tutorials with help on getting started in blender. If you ever need help, don't hesitate to ask!

Hi Cristina and welcome to the Studio forums...it's great to meet you. Don't worry about your English...it's an international community here and we all muddle through the language barrier. If you're interested in learning a 3D program I recommend Blender because it's free and very powerful. The miscellaneous tutorials section has some great links to tutorials that go over how to get started using Blender and I wrote a start to finish accessories tutorial showing how to complete an easy beginner's project using it also.

I will read very carefully your useful and precious tutorial 3d and will not hesitate to ask for your help when I meet obstacles in my tests of creation. Thanks again for all your availability and for the great work!

Guess I should introduce myself since I've made a few posts here now. I'm Ana, I've been playing Sims since the beginning, and I'm fairly new to CC creation. I mostly do recolors at the moment, occasionally hair retextures. Eventually I may branch out to doing other things, but since Sims 4 needs lots of different colors, it may be a while before I do. Thank you for making this amazing program!
