Hello, I'm simtress. I'm from Canada and I love the sims, obvs. I have a tumlbr too. and that's where I see all of your beautiful cc! Ajoya is lovely and she told me I should come here if I ever need help, or just to chat and share stuff about the game. She says there are so many helpful people and tutorials and everything is here on this site. I've made a few pieces of wall-art. Now I have a question about how to put an image on a mesh that is not EA's. Numberswoman on tsr has some meshes that she made specifically for users that want different meshes. I will have a look at your site and see if there is a thread to post questions about. Thanks!

Hi! I'm just a young woman that really likes anime and is completely random.
I haven't done anything like this before, but I want to try it and create my favourite characters and even clothes I designed.
Now, time for backstory: my classmates said I had fish eyes when I opened them too much and my nickname became "fish", I didn't mind it at all! My user name is Sunfish because I like that species and, ironically, in Portugal it's called "peixe lua" (moonfish).
P.S.: I'm not fluent on English. I can't deal with "in"s, "at"s and "on"s...

Hi simtress, welcome to Studio forums...it's great to meet you Studio itself has extra non-EA paintings included inside it that are very easy to use. They are included in Studio specifically for creators that would like different meshes. There is a tutorial here : www.sims4studio.com/thread/1126/recolor-studio-recolorables-mesh that shows how to use them. Those paintings are also easy to shrink or enlarge and there is a tutorial here: sims4studio.com/thread/1514/resize-painting-absolute-beginners that shows how. If you have any questions about the tutorials please feel welcome to ask. There is also a rug included in the tool. If there are different kinds of paintings or rugs people would like to see included in the Studio Recolorables section just let me know Hi sunfish, welcome to Studio forums...it's wonderful to meet you! I'm glad to read that you're interested in getting started with making things for Sims 4...you've come to the right place for that

I got my Studio able to work, but now I'm confused of all the folders involved in the save menu or even how to edit the recolors in the thing itself. I tried looking at the tutorials. I can look at the floor or wall options, but when I click next, it shows a bunch of the folders to save into? I'm not sure exactly.

Hi tigerbitez! When you go to make a new item, the studio first has you save what ever item you are changing. This is pretty neat: that way if you manage to corrupt something you can go back and get that very first save. Just pick a safe place to save it in, then click next. And welcome
