fuyaya I just noticed your introduction above me and I'm so happy to recognize your name - I blogged about your cc about 2 months ago and wanted to tag you directly but you hadn't a tumblr account yet, I believe. The post I wrote about you (the wax collection you did) is here. Guess it's a small world - it's lovely to be able to write you directly, thank you for your wonderful work and meet "on the same starter's day". believe&become Just wanted to say WOW! Looked at your African cc blog. I'm about as white as people come (not much "ethnic" wardrobe experience), but you've got some AMAZING stuff. I'm really looking forward to seeing the sci-fi blog when you get it rolling. Are you going to have a Creator Studio here? Thanks for sharing! (edit: fix tag)

For the record, I'm mostly white but I was born and raised in West Africa and like to keep that part of my soul on fire. Silly me, I was posting in the Custom Content Links section and thinking it was the Creator Studio, not realizing there was actually a different section. So to answer your questions, yes, definitely, I will be putting up a creator studio once I find my way around here lol! Btw your avatar's tshirt (which is lovely btw) looks like one of the tshirts I made recently for kids ... did we have the same idea? I'm posting a link just to show you, not sure if it's the right place to do that.

I'm posting a link just to show you, not sure if it's the right place to do that. I just have a sincere love of tie dye. My shirt info: Tshirt (from a set of 3) by FrankVjecy here: www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=548111I haven't got a studio up, I'm JUST learning this cc thing, and so far, if there's been a roadblock to hit, I've found (or engineered) it. I have had a grand total of ONE shirt recolor work properly from the word go (and it was seriously nothing special). I have attempted a somewhat higher number than that. haha!! But I am *not* giving up. Trouble I'm having is totally a "me" thing, you're bilingual, S4S is a little like trying to learn a 2nd language and skill set, since I AM so new to the creation side, and that doesn't happen in a day. Or, in my case, a week. But, it will happen. Lightbulb moments FTW! (I'm still waiting...) (I don't want to scare anybody off, S4S is AWESOME, I'm just having a few "getting to know you" issues.) Pretty sure it's fine to post pictures here. I just took it out for LENGTH, since it's already showing in your post. I didn't want you to think I took it out because you shouldn't have posted it, I mean. (I overexplain sometimes...) Good news on the Studio, I'll be looking forward to seeing what you add to it. Thanks for the reply!

Thanks for the reply! Thank you for getting back to me! I know what you mean about not reposting the pic, that's fine of course. I love tie-dye too, and it's pretty standard in West Africa, my school uniform (when I had one) was a batik tie-dye dress and we also all learnt to make that kind of cloth at school, both tie-dye and wax dye. The link to cc you posted is pretty cool - it looks like the same texture although angled different, for adults rather than kids and I have lettering ("Africa is my DNA") on it. It's nice to see the same thing inspires different people, like I mentioned yesterday, it really is a small world! It's my first day posting and I already recognize people and textures. Btw, I'm not an expert by any means but if you need help with S4S recolours feel free to ask me. I only use Photoshop for recolours so I am not that familiar with other programs but I'm happy to try. Maybe I can help you get re-interested in a project that you've been struggling with or abandoned? Nothing like getting an old half finished job out of the way! I finished one yesterday that I had started months ago and I'm still in "ah what a relief mode"!

Hello and welcome to the forum, all new commers! This forum is an awesome place to ask questions, be silly & laugh, upload creations and make friends so I do hope you all will love it here! And believe&become is here, my godness!! Im such a huge fan! I LOVE all things Africa and your tumblr is the best one out there for afro-related sims things! If it wasent for your tumblr I'd probably just hate my sims, I prefer making afro-american sims (I see my towns in game as being in America) and without your cool content and you aswell reblogging other peoples CC my game would be severely lacking and probably make me not play it. I'm so happy you are here and I hope to see you in the threads Btw, that Africa is my DNA shirt is the cutest tshirt I've seen - I'd kill to have that IRL!

believe&become thank you so much and welcome to you too I have a Tumblr since 1 year but lot of people don't know it (even frenchies...) I think it's because the CC are on Sims Artists. It's one of my first recolor, wanted to use wax for clothes. You have beautifull recolor on your Tumblr. Added you, really inspiring. Should work on another wax collection, on my new mesh Edit : If you are interested in helping people who speak spaning, there is a topic you should be interested in : sims4studio.com/post/33575/thread

Hello fuyaya, thank you for telling me about that topic, I did list myself there too! I'm happy to that you will be making more wax collections, I will defintely reblog that, although really I love all your stuff, you are so talented and I would of course wear your clothes in real life (regarding your last dress I actually have a dress like that!). I shared some African textiles I used/prepared, if you ever want to use any of them they are here.

J Mzungu thank you so much! I love making custom content of all ethnic backgrounds though I felt that Africans and people of African descent were still a little under-represented, so it's really been my pleasure to explore my African roots and churn out some nice stuff. Of course one tends to starts off with creating things for themselves and their gameplay, but it's double the joy if someone else also enjoys it. As long as there is a good vibe going on, everyone wins, that's what cool about the modding community. Anyway, I did learn to make tie-dyes, so if I open a real life shop are you investing, haha ? Also, I really love your stuff too! I'll put some in my reblog list, especially the wall art. Your gameplay pics are such fun to look at and put a smile on my face.

Hello!!
I have been playing Sims since the first Sims game came out. I started designing houses based from log and timber home designs for TS3. For TS3 I also designed smaller structures such as pool cabanas, venues, garages, and sheds. For TS4 the community and the amount of talent that I have seen is impressive, many helpful people also. I am hoping that I can bring some of my creations into The Sims 4. I also like to create sims for challenges and special days like holidays.

believe&become thanks for the offer of an ear to bend. I'll try not to make you sorry you offered. LOL!! Rolling up a new game (I do that, yeah...), so taking a SMALL break from working with cc. What's in my "Dropped Packages" folder is just practice stuff, I haven't come up with any trailblazing I MUST HAVE THIS thing to work on yet. I will most likely be in touch when I get back to it... kind of hoping everything I have learned takes advantage of this break to settle into a sensible framework I can build from. There's still a lot I don't know. <shrug> WIP. mythicrider and any other new people I may have missed... Welcome!

How lovely that you create so much outdoor stuff, I do feel there is a kind of lack of that in the game (at least TS4), can't wait to see your work! Having said that, hope you enjoy creating stuff in TS4, and no rush with getting familiar with everything! Give us a shout if you need help!
