Hey there guys, as you can see from my posting this I'm new here. I've been playing Sims since Sims 2, and i never really cared too much about mods or CC until recently, and I guess I decided it would be fun to try to make some of my own!

Hi all! I'm a new member on this forum. I decided to make an account after I saw the tutorial for absolute beginners on making poses, in case I had a question. I thought: let me introduce myself properly now I have an account here. I'm a 26 year old woman from the Netherlands. I play since sims 1 and use cc since sims 2. I'm a 'hardcore' sims player: I play very much and very often (with a LOT cc and mods, can't miss them in my game) A few days ago I created my very first creation ever: a pose. If it wasn't for the awesome tutorial I couldn't have done that. I was very pleased with the pose, it was my first but it was OK. Never thought I could pull that off. I really wanted the pose, so instead of begging a creator to make it for me I tried to make it myself. I'm so happy I succeeded. Also pleased that I gave it a go: now I like making poses so much that I'm currently working on my third one! I would love to create other cc too, but I'm a total noob at creating, so I don't think that's a good idea yet. I need to work on my pose skill before I try something else, but never say never. Never thought that creating could be so much fun! I'd like to let other creators know how much I respect them. As I said, I use cc since sims 2 and never played without it since then. For a long time, I took it for granted. Now that I know how much work it is I feel a bit stupid about that. So really: my deep deep respect! And thanks for all those years of sharing and making my game waaaaaaaaay more fun! |

I forgot to introduce myself! xD My name is Jonathan R and I'm from Australia | Melbourne. I first played The Sims when I was 10 years old and The Sims gave me a lot of interest and I have big passion about The Sims. I played The Sims 1, 2, 3 and especially The Sims 4 today! I'm a YouTuber who makes Machinima Music Videos, build Mid-Century lots, Time-Lapse Videos, and Family Home Videos. Welcome alcatpone I hope you find making cc entertaining! It certainly is for me and you'll find all the help you need here, so give out a shout if you get stuck or don't know where to start! Welcome imagimary looking forward to seeing your poses and other creations! It's always nice to hear from players of the earlier Sims games, as I've only ever played TS4 and I am curious about how the cc side has changed since then. Welcome ansett747! Wow, you've been busy! That's great that you have found a niche that you like to focus on, kids and family. I make all kinds of stuff but I am partial to cc for Sims kids and using TS4 as a learning tool for kids too. ansett747 - Geez, I looked at your 'Savage Garden - To the Moon & back' music video and 'Ed Sheeran - Photograph' and WOW, I dont watch machinima but damn it those videos impressed me, big time! You're really good, I mean like REALLY REALLY GOOD.... I cant get my darn sims to move where ever I want them too, and how you manange to do all of that.... just wow! J Mzungu thank you so much! I love making custom content of all ethnic backgrounds though I felt that Africans and people of African descent were still a little under-represented, so it's really been my pleasure to explore my African roots and churn out some nice stuff. Of course one tends to starts off with creating things for themselves and their gameplay, but it's double the joy if someone else also enjoys it. As long as there is a good vibe going on, everyone wins, that's what cool about the modding community. Anyway, I did learn to make tie-dyes, so if I open a real life shop are you investing, haha ? Also, I really love your stuff too! I'll put some in my reblog list, especially the wall art. Your gameplay pics are such fun to look at and put a smile on my face. You are right indeed - Africa is under-represented and I'm so happy that you represent it, because you do it so well! Hehe thank you so much! :D The Sims 4 Photograph - Ed Sheeran was REALLY hard without Sims4Studio and poseplayer but The Sims 4 Machinima - Ed Sheeran - Photograph was a extreme! I used Sims4Package Editor, Sims4Studio and including poseplayer really made my Machinima fantastic. I turn off free will so any sim won't move. xD |
