Hi, I'm Simma Fierce, and I was a member her before, but I forgot my login. And it was helpful seeing that I wanted to create a simming name anyway. I run a magazine called Design Time, and I'm just now getting back into the sims after a half year hiatus.

Hey everyone :D
I've been playing The Sims since TS2 came out and lately I've been completely IN LOVE with TS4. I'm from Brazil, so my English is not all that great. And I also wanted to start learning how to make my own mods for TS4 during my free time, so I decided to register and take a look around and, who knows, become a content creator in the future! ´V`

Hi jessym, welcome to Studio forums...it's great to meet you. If you're interested in learning to make custom content for Sims 4 you've come to the right place. There are loads of tutorials in the tutorial section covering a wide variety of topics and if you have questions about any of them there are friendly people who will help. The Studio community is an international community and everyone is welcome whether English is their first language or not |

My name's Deen, I just signed up and downloaded the program. I'm super new to this, but I have a lot of ideas. Do I need to have the sims 4 on the same computer that I downloaded this program onto? I don't have it on this computer and I'm wondering if not having the base game is going to be a problem. Any help would be appreciated, I'm not sure how to begin.
It won't let me open the program without selecting something, so I'm guessing it wants me to have the base game on the computer before it lets me use it. Is there any way to get around that or will I have to download the sims 4?

Hi deen, welcome to Studio forums...it's nice to meet you! You will need Sims 4 installed to make things for the game. All custom content is based on items cloned from the game and there isn't a way for Studio to make something without access to game items. Hi sunsetboulevardsims, it's great to meet you...welcome to the forums I'm glad to hear you're interested in making things for Sims 4 and you've come to the right place to get started. There are some really easy to follow tutorials in the Build / Buy Mode Tutorial Section and in the CAS Tutorial SectionIf you finished your first Mods and would like to share them, you can choose to make your own Creator Studio where you can place images and a download link or if you got a tumblr or other site where you would like to share your creations, you can also make a thread in the Custom Content Links SectionWould love to see your first creations and have a good time here on the forum!
