Hello! I'm a Mac user, and I have a small problem. With the new fix to S4S, I was finally able to start the program, but, for some reason, only Base Game and City Living CAS items would appear in the 'Create a CAS Standalone' menu. I have all the expansion packs, plus a couple of game and stuff packs installed, but the items won't show up! I checked if I had the correct game path, and it is fine, however it looks like only City Living and a free holiday pack are installed there, all of the other packs and expansions are in a different folder, which can't be selected as a game path (meaning that i can't use their CAS items), but it was created after the recent Sims 4 update. Does anyone know how to make those items appear in Sims4Studio? I need a hairstyle from Get Famous for a hair idea :( Thank you!

Hey okkrin , can you check your game installation to see if it has a version.ini in all of the expansion folders? That is what Studio is looking for before loading an expansion.

okkrin do all of the packs show up in Origin? Have you tried using the repair game option in Origin? I have never seen a setup where some or any packs are in another folder like this.

Just a heads up, mac now requires a new way of storing files. The new folder "The Sims 4 Packs" is the way new dlc will download, previously downloaded dlc will still be on the app bundle under contents. More info here answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues-Mac/The-Sims-4-macOS-Notarization-FAQ/td-p/8876253I know it might be simple to move them to the bundle for some, but considering later on the line these might cause issues for future updates and packs, i think it's better to update s4s to look for both locations. Thanks in advance for all the work you do.

I've encountered this same issue, and I’ve tried moving the folder back into the app content folder but that didn’t work and it also confused the actual game. When I tried playing after that it yelled at me that it couldn’t find the packs. Then it made another "The Sims 4 Packs" folder and started trying to re-download them. I've even tried leaving it there and making a copy to go in the app content folder as well as in the Documents -> Electronic Arts -> The Sims 4 folder, but no luck. i have fixed it! heres how open finder>go>computer>users>your name>sims 4 packs>select everything except installer now open new finder window and repeat process but instead of open the packs folder right click on the sims 4 app and select open package contents, then move the folders you selected earlier over edit: only works for cas and not for build :(
