Hello. When I opened my .blend file (exported from sims4studio) in Blender my mesh looks weird, as if there was no smoothing. I try to check "Auto smooth", but there is no change.
I check the smooth shading and again no change. Thanks in advance for any help on the thread!

Hi. When you import your blend file into The Sims 4 studio, it splits the mesh along uv island borders. When you will export the same file, these split edges will be shaded as sharp The reason the mesh is chopped up in the first place is Decimate modifier. It ruins everything
- select everything with A, Tools - remove doubles, set Merge distance to 0,0001; - Select - select boundary loop. This will show you if there are still holes in the mesh. If there are, Remove doubles again with the slightly higher value; - in UV editor press W and choose Remove doubles, set Merge distance to 0,0001 again.

Thank you so much! I don't want to delete the doubles, because I need them. They are the inside part of the mesh.

By how much did you extrude the mesh? Remove doubles with lower Merge distance than that or just do not select the inner geometry

You can select the different parts of the mesh (for instance the outside) separately with L, then remove doubles, and do the same for the inside. This keeps the inside and outside properly separate.
If the issues come from using Decimate - it's best to avoid using Decimate to lower the polycount wherever possible. Edge loops along with "dissolve edges" gives a much better result with less distortions and holes in the mesh (as long as the mesh flow in the mesh you start out with allows for this method, that is). Better yet, making meshes low-poly to start with (but clothes can be difficult to model, so I get why people use other programs for this).
