Hello! I'm extremely daunted making a request, but I've actually tried my best to do this myself and failed miserably. I'm trying to make some recolours of ATS4's Floor Rack Magazine from their News Stand set. When I go into S4Studio to make recolours, this is how the item looks in the side preview bar: As you can see, there are some built-in links within the mesh (I think?) that link some of the headers/mastheads from the magazines below (as far as I can tell). I would like to have these built-in links removed so each cover can be a full independant cover image, without lifting partial graphics from elsewhere. Is this possible or of interest to anyone? I will be so grateful!

Hi LuvMySimz,
thanks so much for getting back to me! I did all that, but I have no mesh-editing skills, and no idea how to actually fix the issue of some of the headers being drawn from the bottom covers. :'(

Thank you so much for testing it, LuvMySimz! I have the same issue - the original file and all original recolors show up strange in studio, but perfect in game. My recolours look strange in both! My recolored package is here! My graphics card(s): Radeon Pro 450 / Intel HD Graphics 530, on a MacBook Pro. Also I'm sorry for starting 2 threads on the same item; I thought if mesh-editing isn't possible, maybe some recolouring guidance was the way. Would you like me to delete the other thread? Thank you so much again, I really appreciate you taking the time!

Thank you again! I think the steps are similar for Mac & PC, and so far all my other recolours have worked out fine, but I'm definitely a noobie to this. I feel like I must be doing something very simple wrong and I can't figure it out. I did delete the other thread (sorry, I got a little nervous), but I still have images. I can share them below if they are of any use. Here is how the original mesh looks vs my recolor, zoomed in, in-game: Here is how the original textures are exported from Studio: This is how the original mesh and all original recolours look in Studio preview. I can't figure out what this top grey thing is, I think it's where all the 'headers' are being drawn to as that's where the 'glitch' occurs in my recolors.

I looked at your package and saw the the image has the wrong size/dimensions. It has to be either be 512x256 or 1024x512 or 2048x1024
Yours is 1422x711 which is wrong.
omg. that's so weird, I shall look into this right now. Thank you so much!!

LuvMySimz, thank you so much for pointing out my rookie mistake. I'm so embarrassed. It was absolutely that! It fixed both my problems!!
