New Version of Sims 4 Studio (Wishes) Version 3.1.3.4 is not showing all the information from the householdbinary file when batch imported.
I usually import this file so that the Sims in the household can be edited. There is a line that reads "Sim" to the right is a button "Edit Items".
This is missing along with several other lines of information.
I'm having to keep a copy of the older version 3.1.3.3 installed also so sims in the householdbinary file can be edited.
Why? That is an excellent question.... and after several hours I solved a problem.
Allow me to share some information with my fellow simmers.
Several Sims downloaded from the gallery may have been in an active household when uploaded to the gallery more especially skilled Sims.
This causes the "Serialization Option" to not be Zero. This is located under each sim accessed using "Edit Items" on the line that reads "Sim".
Why is this important?
Figured this out by trial and error.
Made a new neighborhood, placed in other homes Downloaded skilled Sims. (Usually install one next door to my active sim's house.)
After installing these downloaded sims I place them into "Other households" so they are NPCs.
Everything is saved and we're ready to start a our new custom neighborhood. You enter your active sim's household for the first time.....
And here is the custom sim you placed next door to your active sim standing there on your lot! Trespasser!
Hours of trial and error I found the Serialization Option for each sim in the Downloaded Household (from the Gallery) must be Zero to fix the above problem. I would really like to know what this Serialization Option so I'd know why it causes Downloaded sims to appear somewhere.
Thank you,
