Hello, so I'm just getting started with creating things in Sims 4 Studio, and I thought I'd practice first with an eye shadow. For reference, I followed this tutorial here:
Here are the steps I took to make the eyeshadow:
1. Clicked on create cas standalone 2. Pulled up an eyeliner base from the game, and saved that package in a folder I created (separate from the sims 4 studio folder) - later when looking for help I read somewhere that the package should be in your sims 4 studio mods folder AND your regular mods folder, so I copied it to both when I was done 3. Downloaded the female model and opened it up in clip studio paint, created a new layer, drew the eye shadow over the eye to fit it, and then I made the female model layer unseen and just saved the eyeshadow as a png. file 4. I imported the eyeshadow as a texture, and it does show up on the model in sims 4 studio, made sure the outfit type was switched to eyeshadow and fixed the categories, then I saved
The problem starts when I open my game and try to apply it to a sim. I still have the mods screen enabled for when I open sims 4, and I could see it on the list of mods I have. However when I try to look for in the makeup section it doesn't show up.
Also, if anyone needs to see the file I made, I'm not sure exactly how to get it up on here from my computer. This is my first thread, so if I could get help with that too it would be much appreciated. Thanks!

This tutorial doesn't mention that the only way to make eyeshadow to appear on the custom skin is to set composition method to 0. Nothing else will work. Also you don't need to copy an eyeliner, copying an eyeshadow and switching composition method to 0 will give a needed result. if you copy an eyeliner your eyeshadow won't work with any other eyeliners.

Copying it from an eye shadow instead of a liner seemed to do the trick. Thank you so much!
