Hello everyone!
I'm trying my Hand at modding for the first time today, and have run into a Problem since i am by no means familiar with the Software yet.
My Goal (which i know is an ambitious one, but I've got all the quarantine time and Patience i Need) is to creaate "functional" wings for (adult) sims: as in, i want wings that i can make animations for, and that dont just stick to my sim's back like a cheap Halloween costume.
By following a tutorial posted by tech lead "andrew" back in 2017 (this one, further down in the comments: sims4studio.com/thread/10079/rig-editing ) i managed to get as far as to make a custom rig (aka step one two and three of the the tutorial post) and it's Looking Pretty good so far. Buuut now im stuck, because i have no clue how to go on. The tutorial says to "Restart Studio and open your CAS mesh package." but i dont even know what that means or how to do it. Sorry, again, i literally am modding for the very first time today.
What would be very delightful would be if anyone could help me with this particular step and just explain for Dummies what the hell andrew meant. Even better would be to translate the rest of the tutorial into Baby talk for me too if possible, beacause the last time i used blender was in seventh grade for a crappy mothers day Animation. One Thing that might make it easier for yall is that atleast i understand how to animate, because there are some very cohesive tutorials on YouTube written for idiots like me.
Thank anybody replying to this in Advance! And i apologize for the random capitalization, but that's my german keyboard's doing and quite frankly im too lazy to fix it. Much love, fiobroeic
