Hi,
I have a bunch of skin detail CC that I absolutely love (stuff like Zeus nails, Aurora's Show Some Teeth, Oh Smooth skin, Heihu cleavage overlays) that I'm trying to change to different categories. I like loading my sims up with dozens of skin details, so I'm basically trying to make these details I like show up as forehead crease AND mouth crease AND lip mole etc..., so I can combine them all freely.
So from what I understand, I need to export the texture, make a new CAS standalone in the location I want the detail to move to, then import the texture and save, right? But when I go to create CAS standalone, it only shows me official EA items. When I set content to "custom", no items show up at all. Any ideas what I might be doing wrong?

If you want to clone or recolor custom items, you have to put them in C:\Users\USER\Documents\Sims 4 Studio and find them with "CAS --> Create CAS Standalone" (or "Create 3D Mesh") and "Content --> Custom"
If you just want to open up the files to extract textures (and then make your own files, which you can do from cloning an EA file later), you can open custom files by clicking "my projects" and finding the file you want to open, extract whatever you need.
Then you can make your own files via "CAS --> Create CAS Standalone" for makeup (or "Create 3D Mesh" if there's a mesh involved)

Thank you so much! Found all the relevant files now after moving them to the right folder.
