Hey all, Beginner CC creator here - I've tried so many times to follow tutorials and I always get to the same point and fail (usually transferring weights over and the UV maps bit). Well last night I decided to update all my programs and spent 6 hours back and forth making a top in Marvellous Designer 9 (I've previously used 7 but it kept crashing). I managed to export the file as an .obj and import it into Blender 2.0 - but when it imports it's horizontally on the floor and I have to scale it to fit my avatar. The avatar is the black bra mesh exported from S4S and the avatar I designed to in MD were ones downloaded from the forums here so they should all add up. I spent aaaaages trying to scale and rotate the mesh so it fit the model, but it's still not perfect. Any ideas? Also some unrelated questions but for those that use MD9, I'm having some issues I didn't experience in MD7. The grab tool isn't working so I can't pull and tweak any of the garments I make (frustrating!). And also when I try to move the 2d mesh in the 3d window it doesn't let me move it manually using the gizmo at all. I have to usually select the mesh in 2d, and try using Q and the arrow keys which is so time consuming! Thanks in advance SS

Hi. When importing or exporting the mesh, make sure to do this in meters, not with auto scale. Also make sure the export settings look like this You can change navigation tools in the program settings

Just to check - would this be in the export settings on MD or the import setting in Blender (or both!) Thanks again SS
