Hello all! I hope this is the relevant forum to post this question in!
I'm using Sims4Studio to rename the catalogue titles for large batches of CC; adding creator names to the beginning of package files so they'll be easier to search for in game (I wish more creators did this automatically, it makes finding items in build/buy much less frustrating especially when the titles don't really match the objects). I'm running into an issue where after adding the text to the title under catalogue and saving the package to overwrite the original, when I open that package up again in S4S, the title seems to remain unchanged.
I went through almost 100 files and changed the names only to open them again later and discover most of them hadn't retained the name change. BTW, I'm using the latest version of S4S for mac. Is this a known issue with S4S? Is there something I'm not seeing that's causing this problem? Side note, is there a batch feature to rename package files under the catalogue tab? Similar to the mass rename tool on Mac but in S4S. If not, it would be a majorly useful tool to include in an update.

It does not appear to be a problem with the Windows version (Wishes), because the changes are applying fine, and are still there after reopening the file. Someone else will have to do some testing with the Mac versions.
It does sound strange, though. Do you have problems saving changes for new files you've made, or just files others have made? I'm thinking it could be a problem with the place the files are saving to, for instance a folder or area on the Mac locked for file editing or some such (I know that can sometimes be a problem on Windows 10 which loves to suddenly protect random files or folders from editing, I have no idea if Macs can have similar issues). If the files are in your mods folder, try putting them somewhere else while editing.

I've just barely begun to dip my toe into the exploration of CC making so I haven't done much besides open a game file and study how to go about recolouring. I did save two new package files of my own with no problems but I never tried to rename them. I'll test it out right now and report back.

simmerish20 I just created my own file with S4S and named it with no problems. However, when I renamed it and saved, the changes were reverted to the OG name when I opened the file up again.
