When I export the mesh of a tank top (I've tried 2 different base game ones), it's shortened in blender/not all there from the first time I even open the blender file. Everything is marked visible, it's like this before I even touch anything else in blender. When I try to append anything else, it turns into even more of a mess. Any ideas? Hi. Unfold rig, make the bottom selectable. Select it, switch to the texture tab, click on the drop-down list of textures and choose the top one.

When I try appending the tank to the skirt, the mesh is a mess (https://imgur.com/lS9wf6y) I've successfully frankenmeshed a swimsuit and shorts so I have no idea what's going wrong with this tank and skirt

By "unfold rig" i mean click on the + button near rig. Click on the cursor icon to make it selectable RMB-click on the bone_bone_shape.001 and choose delete, delete rig.001 as well Hide the other mesh to prevent clipping I strongly advice you to watch more tutorials first because cc making is not straight-forward, you will have new problems with every step

Just throwing my two cents in here. It looks to me as if everything exported exactly as it should have. The tank top texture displays over both the top and bottom part of the Sim when in the game and in S4S because it is a skintight garment but as it is classed as a top when you export it to blender it will only extract the torso of the Sim, which is normal. Because only the torso of the Sim is exported for editing, the texture does not display on the bottom portion of the Sim unless you follow mauvemorn's instructions to make the texture visible there as well.
