Does anyone know if there are any OMSP's for Food prep surface and Computer slots? Not sure how to describe it.
I'm having issues in the game that when a 'moveobjects on' object is "placed" on a counter my sim will eventually lose the ability to prep food. If I reposition the object they then resume the action but then it happens again later on. Computers have this issue too. Sims won't go to one unless you sit them in the chair first. Apparently the objects even though floating still prevent sims from using it. So I thought maybe an OMSP could help. I'd be able to freely place it without interference, I hope.

Severinka at TSR has a set of OMSPs including one for counters, but the site seems to be down at the moment. Probably just temporarily (the site was up just a few days ago). I'm not sure if it works for food prep or computers, but it does work for deco, so you could put deco on this one and leave the counter free for food prep and other sim interactions. www.thesimsresource.com/artists/Severinka_/downloads/details/category/sims4-sets-objects-construction/title/omsp-set/id/1355287/Sims usually have to be within reach of the object and need to have certain "boxes ticked" to be able to interact with objects. If you move the items around too much or put them in places the sims aren't able to interact with them (moveobjects is known for "unticking boxes" in several of the Sims games) the items can become unplayable. Usually the best thing you can do is to leave the items in places the sims can interact with them, which is to say anywhere they'd be able to reach and/or interact with them without cheats. You can get lucky with cheats, but at some point you can end up stretching it too far.

Thank you but I'm pretty sure that is just for Decor.

So far I haven't seen any TS4 OMSPs for things other than deco.
I have seen food prep and electronics OMSPs for TS2, but that doesn't help...
OMSPs are essentially tables (with a slot) that can be made invisible. If you want them to have extra functions you usually need to clone something with those functions, or somehow give those functions to that object so it behaves that way. In TS2 you can for instance set up a slot to behave like a counter. I don't know if you can do the same in TS4 (but maybe it's possible - I only know how to add and edit simple deco slots for TS4 objects...)

Yea, I was just hoping someone else already did it, so I wouldn't have to stress myself trying to figure things out. It would take a long time and this is a shared computer. So I don't have much time on it. Thank you for responding and trying though. I appreciate it.

Ive spent the last hour or two looking for something like this with no luck. I was trying to recreate my own kitchen, which only has the equivalent of three counters, a range, and a sink. I can easily recreate the counters with their appliances and clutter in TS4 with game items and CC, but my sims will refuse to cook in them counters even though I have no problem cooking with this amount of space in real life, but sims are sims and they need an entire square meter of free space to chop vegetables on a 20cm long cutting board.....
Ive tried using OMSP to place my clutter, using alt+9 to raise items and then placing the counter under it with moveobjects on, and placing them directly on the counter. None of these let you cook on the slightly cluttered counters.
