Hello! I've been working on this nonstop for the past month and I figured it's time I finally suck it up and ask for help. I apologize in advance if I am somehow posting in the wrong place, I'm new to this! Let me start off by saying I have been trying to create a frankenmesh dress using meshes from other cc and this is purely for personal use-- I don't plan on releasing this mesh unless the original creators give me explicit permission to do so. That being said, I'm sure many of my problems stem form not using EA meshes. My biggest issue is the left arm. Everything looks fine in blender and S4S, however when I put it in my game the arm looks like this: imgur.com/wZvlGIQimgur.com/SqTIqQvHere are the .package and .blend files: www.dropbox.com/sh/lbrsve2pm1ky5gu/AAAXftjybmIdpOCbSmTohkzya?dl=0I know it looks like a mess, I figured I should try to figure out the mesh first before I even think about textures and bump maps Additionally, the body does not change with the mesh as it should. I cannot change boob/stomach/arm size etc using my mesh so I'm wondering if a good chunk of this is actually uv_1 issue? I tried transferring weights from EA meshes and that doesn't seem to really change anything either. I'm genuinely stumped and would appreciate any help or advice anyone has to offer!! Thank you!!

Hi. Can't check right now but did you duplicate and mirror the sleeve? When doing so, you also need to edit weights and a uv_1 The garment not morphing is a vertex paint related issue

I duplicated just about everything on the mesh :( I'm really new to this so there is a good chance I did a lot of this wrong

CC making is not as straightforward as one would want. It is best to get a good idea of what needs to be done by watching tutorials with explanation before trying to make something

Hi, your mesh looks good but the issues are with the weights. The weights aren't normalized, which means that the combined weight for some vertices is greater than 1, for example this random vertex here - I tried to fix the weights it already had, but it didn't work. So to fix it, I made the mesh into 1 cut/meshgroup to make life easier, and deleted all the existing weights and re-transferred all the weights, making sure auto-normalize was on. Here's my .package - simfileshare.net/download/1962912/

Oh my goodness thank you so much!!
I did notice there is another issue with the mesh though and I'm not quite sure what led to this issue, but it almost seems like parts of the mesh are assigned to the wrong things. For example, in game if I highlight the upper left arm, the lower right arm is also highlighted. Additionally, I cannot select the boobs if I wanted to change their size, the mesh isn't conforming to the body shape properly if I change the sim's weight etc. I'm not sure what I did to create this problem :'(

The uvs in the uv_1 map should not fit in the uv space. Look what any maxis garment's uv_1 looks like to know what I mean.
choose uv_1, select all uvs with A, press S X 2 to bring them to the original size, then G X -512

Hello again! I fixed the original issues but now I have a strange new issue. In CAS for some reason her arms are behind her back. I have tried removing all of the weights and transferring all of the weights from the original mesh but I still end up with this problem. I'm pretty sure the UV_1 map is fine now too but I am not 100% sure. Also!! For some reason selecting the upper left arm also highlights the lower right arm and vice versa. Fixing the UV map and starting over did not solve this issue and I'm not quite sure how to fix it. Any help would be appreciated! Thank you again!! Hi. We cannot access the files. This can happen for a number of reasons not related to weights or a uv_1, so we need to see

Yeah, the garment must be split the same exact way into the same number of meshgroups as the original, they should have corresponding cut numbers and be affected by the same bones. Export the original dress again and use it as a reference as to how to split the mesh
