An old favorite set of mine from the TS2 days was mirake's Leyris set (sets, really) on TSR, which has a lot of really lovely multicolored reclaimed wood textures, as you can see in these links I grabbed real quick to illustrate:

The Eat the Plank table and Slatted Perch chairs from Perfect Patio really remind me of this set... but there's just one problem. The texture that currently exists for the table uses just TWO plank images in the texture to fill in the ENTIRE surface of the table on the in-game object, like so:
I believe from having a quick look at the chair textures that at least one of them (the barstool type backless outdoor one) has the same problem, though the dining chair looks like it might have individual slats (but they're still laid out weirdly all over the texture so I can't tell without doing the same test... I could do so if someone wants to take on this project and doesn't feel like doing it themselves, though).
I know that, while TS4 doesn't let objects have separate textures that you can change separately like TS2 did, at least some content can USE more than one texture for the same item. Hopefully this is something that can be done with objects and isn't too much of a hassle to do, because I feel like the solution for my problem in making multicolored wood versions of these items is for someone to make a version of the object that has the same mesh as the original, the same texture for the legs/frame part as the original, but a new, separate texture (made from copying and pasting bits of the existing texture) that does not use one area of the image to texture multiple planks, but instead allows each plank to be different (so it wouldn't have to repeat the same colors in the same sequence -- and it would give the option of a table that had a design painted across the whole surface, too).
A different-sized/shaped single texture that just put the full table surface elsewhere in the image would work too, for that matter; I'm just getting intothe back end of TS4 content after having once been a somewhat competent TS2 recolorer years back, so I don't know what makes more sense. Keeping it so that it's easy to tell one plank from another as in the original would make my life much easier when it comes to actually doing the recolors, regardless (and probably work better with the mesh from the looks of it?). Naturally I'd credit whoever did the work when sharing my recolors, it'd be up to you whether I included the remapped mesh in them or linked to your file, and I don't charge for Sims CC.
If someone capable of doing this is feeling extra generous or just also really loves the idea, they could also make some add-on tables in different sizes like Veranka did here, but also with full table textures, since I know I'm not the only one who'd probably get more use out of 1x1 and 2x1 tables than 3x1 anyway:

(I'd also love to have some accent tables (end, hallway/console, coffee) and frankly anything else that struck someone's fancy, but even just having the one table and at least one of the two chairs that are already in the game would be amazing. In the meantime I might play with the Island Living table, which does have the entire surface included in its texture -- because it has designs that have been painted across the entire table surface as part of its in-game swatches -- but it's made up of just four wide boards oriented the long way on the table, so it's a very different look than this one.)
