If I had to guess, it's not a game-breaking bug so it's probably being held off until the big December patch because it doesn't 'need' a fix. There's limited people, limited resources, and covid jamming up everything, so they have to prioritise more than usual and sometimes those priorities are just not in line with the community. If they are waiting until December, that's just crazy. I have had to stop mid-build on a couple of my builds because of this issue. I can't use the doors and arches I need to use (that were used prior to this the patch). It's driving me nuts! I think I'm going to try to make a go at fixing the ones I need at least. Like I said, that's just my guess, I'm not an authority on the matter. They seem to put non-gamebreaking stuff on the backburner to do bigger patches all at once. Good luck updating the doors and arches though. After doing about two full sets of Peacemaker's stuff I can say that it's not necessarily hard, it's just that the info to actually understand what's going on is spread out across the various tutorials and the process itself is time-consuming as all hell. I did manage to get nearly everything I attempted working though, save a couple of three-tile arches, so let me know if I can be of any help, I guess?

I have seen how to fix the windows, the problem is that my brain shuts down when it processes math. I have taken a whack at trying to fix it myself and that was an eye opening experience for my level of patience.
I'm not super familiar with the forum, but is there anyone who can point me where to go so i can ask if i could pay someone to fix my windows and doors folder? I would be eternally grateful. Thank you guys so much, for all that you do.

I can't do maths for the life of me but using Blender to do it cut the maths part out entirely.

I'm in the middle of a story and I have a window that is not replaceable (there are no other like it even though it is basically a rectangle) but I cannot stress enough how I simply don't have the mental capacity to figure out the fix.

Did you check here domino : simoviacourt.tumblr.com/post/629907435246714880/how-to-fix-your-cc-doors-and-windows-by-xineasI read through that and it seemed pretty straight forward. It's great with square/rectangle from what I can tell. If it's a weird shape there are a lot of little dots to connect there then. Probably would need Blender to pull the coordinates.

Which one is it? It's actually this one here. Only two pieces though, chaggith_halfwall-singlemediumleft and chaggith_halfwall-singlemediumright. You would think it would be easy but I still can't figure it out.

It's not a complete rectangle. It only has 3 sets of coordinates instead of 4 (now I dont know how this transfers into the game but this is just my impression)... The entire top is "open" so there wouldn't need to be a coordinate from the top right to top left corners. Maybe just extend the side coordinates up to the very top of a wall by using the highest coordinate that is allowed for that particular wall height. That seems to me that would tell it to extend as far as it could. Then there would be nothing for the 4th coordinate (from D to A so to speak) to "cut out". I have not done any of that, it is just my take on it after reading through the tutorial I linked for you. *UPDATE* - I decided to download those "windows" to check them out. So, you have 1 that is going to be 3 parts, it makes the shape of an "L" (left side) then the middle just a single short horizontal beam, then the right side which is a backwards "L" shape. I would guess that those would not have a typical rectangle or squared cut out. The other "singles" in there are simply the "U" shaped that would be what I was referring initially. Basically, you have upside down arches.

Thank you for taking a look. It makes complete sense, after reading the tutorial I attempted to do it but it didn't work and probably for the reason you stated, I'm thinking of it as a rectangle, or maybe because I barely know what I'm doing. Do you think this window would be fixable with the batch fix? I use it in an apartment that took me over a month to build and decorate for the story I'm sharing and it's been driving me crazy that for a month I haven't been able to do anything, but more than that, wondering if I will be able to use it at all even after the fix comes out.

No problem! I am learning as I go and decided to try it. Please remember, I've never created a mesh in my life or edited one, done any kind of scripting mod or editing of objects in the warehouse area etc, recolors are basically what I do. So, I downloaded those packages. Went in and fiddled with the tutorial and I couldnt get it to work. My thought is this: how does a door or an archway have no border at the bottom? Is that considered an edge by the game? If so, what would put as a value for that type of edge? I'll see if I can fiddle with it some more. There's a first time for everything I guess!

@luvmysimz can I ask you about the coordinates for the single short wall package? Was my theory on that good or no? I want to understand this stuff. I wasnt aware there was any kind of DST file or anything. I tried!

I wasnt aware there was any kind of DST file or anything. I tried! Yes you can, but I'm not there yet. Still on the double medium heights. I had to take a break last night (my time Germany). Will continue today and then post more information here once I'm done. Will also exlplain about the missing DST image file in all files and what you have to do. Oh my god, you guys! I'm so going to cry, thank you so much for even poking at them!

@luvmysimz AWESOME Job!! 8-) I do not have time right now to fix them all for myself, but I tried one and got it on my first try! Thanks so much for that! LOL It wasnt even CC I was ISO, I just wanted to learn how to fix it. I know how to fix it now, but not the why/what/where aspect. You rock! I'm glad you got this fixed for Domino!!
