The Request + Venting + ???
So, items infused with magic (at least i assume as much) would be quite great items, right? Right??
Well, for what ever reason EA/Maxis thinks that items that have magic is actually trash.
I would love to make these items equal to or better than that of the best furniture from the base game.
Further more, would love all items to work off-grid as they are magical,
not some random prop you got in some shady "Sam's Trick's and Baskets" shop.
I wanted and tried to do this myself, but Sims 4 Studio and the tutorials are... none to helpful to be as kind as I can.
I extracted the tuning file, and got that far, looking into the file just looked like nonsense to me.
I'm fairly certain the values i want to change is in that file, but could be wrong.
As far as i have read, the "ObjectTooltipTags" only changes the TEXT, not the de/buff of the item.
Was relitivly easy enough to locate, but the actual de/buffs... I have no clue...
What i wanted to do was change windows, furniture and nearly everything to be quite luxurious, and why not?
The items are magical enchanted objects and thus should, even if it would be just a single simple cube of wood,
be as stunning and comfortable to sit on like the best non-magical chair in the world. Because magic, that's why.
So for instance, the stall-bath is uncomfortable, which makes NO sense for a magical item.
And it requires to be plugged in to the main plumbing network of the city?!!
Excuse me, is this a prop or a magical bath?!?
EDIT: Oh and before you say i should check out "Change Comfort & Other Scores of a Bed (Tuning & Catalog)".
Just know that I DID and this tutorial only teaches how to COPY de/buffs from one object to another.
I want to fine tune things myself, not copy/paste from one to another.
That to seemed straight forward BEFORE reading the tutorial actually.
So far no tutorial seems to exists explaining how to do this :/
So...
Summery
Either or both works:
► Requesting items to be actually GOOD instead of the trash they are by default.
► Or better yet, a tutorial that actually explains how to do this,
so the majority of you can be lazy and then eventually enjoy a released version of mine with the changes I want done.
I just want to change their stats, no their colors or models or the like, just their bonuses.

Realms of magic is a gorgeous little mod that deserves some love (and the only DLC I have too :P )
