This is my first time ever creating a thread on any kind of forum so bear with me, and my issue relates to my CC not loading into the game.
I'm super new to making CC, as in I want to start. I've already got sufficient experience with Blender and a 2D editing software (I've used GIMP but currently use FireAlpaca), I'm confident enough with meshes and textures. What I have zero experience with is Sims 4 Studio.
Basically my issue is that my completed .package's refuse to show up in The Sims 4 after I've loaded the game with them in my Mods folder. I've made a few attempts now with different CAS items, one literally just being a quick and easy standalone recolor that shouldn't have given me any trouble. I've followed the steps on the tutorials to the letter with each attempted CC, and I'm pretty solid with problem solving and putting information together so my only theory as to why none of my .package's appear in the game (meaning they don't even appear in the catalogue) is that Sims 4 Studio must not be compatible with the new Legacy Edition, which I'm forced to play on because I have an old computer.
Here are the versions of everything I have/use:
My Macbook Pro (13 inch; early 2011): macOS High Sierra version 10.13.6
The Sims 4: Legacy Edition (and I have ALL packs and downloads that are compatible with Legacy, and it's all fully updated)
Sims 4 Studio (just downloaded for the first time 3 days ago): Version 1.3.1.5 (1)
Blender: Version 2.79b
FireAlpaca: Version 2.1.14 (though since this is only necessary for making a .png texture I don't think FireAlpaca has anything to do with my issue)
Again, I've followed all instructions for meshes and textures and LOD1-3 and uv_0 vs uv_1 and .blend and .png and everything. I've tried everything I could find but my CC just will not appear in The Sims 4 catalogues (but it DOES show up on the list of CC that pops up when you first open the game, the pop-up that basically asks if it's ok to play with the CC that you've loaded in). Please help!
