Is it possible to recolor the baby onesies from Nifty Knitting in S4S? If so, how do I do this?

I'd love to know the answer to this too. I looked to see if I could recolor the Nifty Knitting onesies but I couldn't find them.

You recolor them like any other item. You extract the textures and make your changes, then import back in. Here is a download of all the NK onesies and the base game onesies. www.simfileshare.net/download/1977059/NK onesies are actually BG files and is why they don't appear when looking in the NK files.

I found someone who made little defaults all though the names are not changed. It can be found here simverses.tumblr.com/post/632363480763252736/baby-outfit-default-replacementI used their package as reference but ran into a bit of a problem. The baby outfits I recolour has the mesh of the original maxis ones, its not like making normal baby default outfits. This is the recolour I attempted, as you can see the imprint of the original outfit remains. It only dissapears if you make part transparent. As soon as there is any colour then it shows the imprints. Number one is untouched. Number two I shortened it and that took away the longsleeve and longpants imprint. Number three I removed the shirt and that removed the pockets and buttons. Does anyone know how I could make that so that its not a previous outfit mesh. I checked and all 17 of them do it. If no one knows then its ok, I will just wait for MizoreYukii 's tutorial. I just thought I would give it a go, all though the names are not changed and all it would have been nice to have 17 of my outfits ingame until I could do it properly with a tutorial Thanks in advance for any replies <3 Happy simming

The lines are most likely caused by the normal map (bump) for each outfit. Those aren't included with that file, so the game would use the originals.
When you remove something from a texture, the game uses the alpha channel (black/white or greytone part of the DDS file or PNG) to hide it, which I guess includes the bump map, so that's most likely why it's not showing on the baby.

Aaaah I sort of understand that. Thank you so much for your reply. Unfortunately I am a bit of a noob with sims4studio, just know tiny little basics that I learned from tutorials so will have to wait until one is available to do it correctly, it seems the person I downloaded from did not do it correctly. Kudo's to them for finding the files though, I for the life of me can't find them even if I tick debug LOL
