Hello! I'm very, very new to S4S (like, 2 days new) and downloaded because I got inspired after finding a handful of default replacement/overrides for EA hairs. However, there's a weirdly small amount of this content (I remember for TS2 I had almost every item replaced lmao), so I set out to try to learn to do it myself using this forum and another tutorial I found. And it took a bit, and I thought I figured it out! Checked it in the game, looked great, I was so proud of myself...until I clicked another hair color and saw all but the first swatch was completely messed up. It seems that I'm able to override only one swatch at a time, regardless of whether or not I have them all selected. Am I completely missing a step here? Can anyone help? I was hopeful that this tutorial would help but I've do everything in it with no luck. Screenshots of my process to help:
Open the CC I want to override the default- export the mesh as a blend file, then all the textures and thumbnail as a .png, making sure all the color swatches are selected Go to the main screen and select CAS overrides Find the hair I want to override and select all the swatches, save as a package in my Sims 4 mods folder import the mesh .blend file, then the textures and thumbnail Looks perfect for the black swatch....not so much for the others. Do I have to export each individual mesh/texture for every single swatch?? I sure hope not, but it just doesn't make sense why a step of the process is to select all the swatches? The CC hair has the regular EA swatches.

You will unfortunately need to export every single swatch colour texture that you want to use from the CC to replace the game ones with. If you look at your pictures showing off the black swatch you can see the textures are different. The red hair in your last screenshot does not have these edits on the texture and is still using the EA original texture. Every single hair in the game has its own unique colour texture. Hairs only share shadow, specular, and normal textures within a style.

I figured out how to batch export all the swatches at least, so I only have to import one by one. At least now I know I don't have to worry about the shadow/specular/normal textures, I was replacing all those too. Thanks so much for your help!
