Hello, I was wondering is there a way to do this mod idea without doing any scripting, only use sims4studio? If I want all sims to have their own preference in something, for example music, color and also be able to choose it on your own, do I have to do script mod file?🤔 Kind of similar way how the attraction system in Wicked whims,or the chemistry system mod works. All sims could have this hidden “trait” with their randomly generate preference.
I learned a few things during quarantine how to create simple mods in sims4studio, but I’m not really experienced at script mods.😪Still learning them. I don’t want to start doing the package files until I’m not sure that I need to do a ts4script file.
Thank you^^

For all sims that spawn? Well normally that would require scripting (there's a tutorial here), but I have an idea on how to accomplish this without scripts and using only XML Injector. XML Injector allows you to add buffs to traits ( XML Injector). What you can attempt to do is add a buff to the age traits (i.e trait_youngAdult 34318) that has a _loot_on_instance or _loot_on_addition inside it (I'm not sure which will be better in this case, probably addition) that will run a random_loot_action with the traits (aka preferences) you made. You'll want to add tests to keep the preferences from reapplying every time the game loads (if it even works that way, I forgot) but otherwise that should work how you want it. For choosing preferences on your own, you can either A) put them in the Rewards store as a reward trait, or B) make an interaction that opens a selection menu or make several interactions to apply them (either one can be done with XML Injector).
