Hi, just wanted to add that I'm having the same issue as well.Tried saving in dds and png, but to no avail. Unfortunately I've deleted the installation .exe file for the older version of S4S, so I can't make any progress with a CAS project for now.
Is it possible for the devs to add a link to the second-latest version of S4S on the Download thread, so other creators who need to make urgent fixes to their CC can do so?

Hi Andrew! Here are some example files drive.google.com/file/d/13FPPD-ctTP0Qxdeqii2Nl1KavfWLMd7b/view?usp=sharingYou'll find my package, my specks + mask in png and in dds format as well. My steps: - I remove the existing speculars from the package. - Double check in the warehouse to make sure RLES is gone. - I add my own speculars. - Save the package and close it. - Re-open the same file and the speculars are gone from the studio page. - The RLES files are in the warehouse in double. - Remove them again and refresh. They just won't stay there. No matter the package, no matter if the speculars are saved as dds or png (I usually go for png). Hope that was enough information, I really tried to think of everything (rofl)

GengarUsedLick thanks for posting the package. I was able to find the problem. The reason it did not happen to me is because the bug only happens when the specular image is set to id 0 in the CAS Part (Make Blank option will do this). The next version of Studio will fix this bug. If you need to manually fix a package before then, you can delete all but one of the duplicate RLES in the warehouse, write down the type/group/instance number of the RLES, and paste that into the "Specular Map" of each CAS Part resource in the package. Once they have a number other than zero, you can use the Studio tab again to re-import the specular if necessary.

I am having the issue with hair recolors specifically, here is a link to a recolor file and the spec map + mask I'm using: www.mediafire.com/folder/aue7iq5mk69t1/Spec_Map_Issue + the hair file I'm recoloring (Adora): www.patreon.com/posts/nocturne-cc-pack-42953328Basically, I create CAS standalone from the file (which I place in the mods folder for s4s), import my swatches, and import my specular. When reloaded, the spec maps are gone from the studio page but are present in the warehouse tab. I'll be honest I don't know if I'm knowledgeable enough to know whether the spec maps appear in game. I have reverted to 3.1.3.7 and am still having the problem; I have also noticed that the problem only exists when I open hairs that don't seem to have spec maps initially? Or maybe blank ones, though I see no indication of spec map in Warehouse tab. I am hoping that makes sense, I'm fairly new to s4s and still learning, as I said!
Edit: Ah, I posted before I saw your reply Andrew, my apologies! Thank you for investigating!
