Hi,after importing this sweater from a game, when Im in CAS,the texture seems too pixelated,I think thats because I make it 1024x1024 to fit the uv map,how I can fix it,? I mean,I have seen a lot of CC that look way better and with very good textures. (Ignore that deformation in the neck,I was just testing around) imgur.com/a/mAqWB82

Hi. - bigger uvs = better quality; - save as png; - if png gives bad results, save as dds.

What do you mean with bigger uvs?

Also, when you scale the image, loss in quality is inevitable

But...I´ve used all the space I can but the cloth still looked so bad, also, how some creator can do clothes with that quality in textures?

Can we see your texture file?

Also many CAS creators use the HQ "mod" to make use of higher resolution textures.

Can we see your texture file? Here it is,its 2048x2048 so it should have good quality imgur.com/a/zLmh0oV

Yeah I know, but Im a bit confused, because some people says that, for better quality(dont need to use the hq mod) I should use bigger textures but...I dont know if Im missing something but...If the texture is 2048x2048 it is going to be too big for the UV texture

The UV map basically tells the game which parts of the texture should be applied to which parts of the mesh, the texture and UV map can be completely different sizes. Regardless, I believe they're saying to use more of the UV map to map the pixelated area, not to make the texture itself bigger. Edit: also your imgur link is broken, I presume this is it instead.

I've only made a handful of CAS things before, but aren't the UVs always rectangles? Objects are sometimes square but I don't think i've ever seen a square texture for clothes before. Also your texture confuses me in general tbh. :-x. Is there a reason it's set up like that instead of the standard CAS way? Like this one:

Yes,thats it the texture, but I mean, when I resize the texture in photoshop,I have to make the UV smaller

Yes,thats it the texture, but I mean, when I resize the texture in photoshop,I have to make the UV smaller No you don't. The UV map linked to your mesh tells the texture where to be applied. It doesn't have to be the same resolution as the texture. Can you give us the package?

Right now I cant,Im re-making it to fix some errors with the hands and the neck, but I can give you this one, wich have the already named errors so ignore them. www.mediafire.com/file/p890jt2lpfxni2l/(TTF)+Silver+Fang+Top.package/file
