So in Blender I set my bear up to be translucent and then followed the steps to set it transparent in S4Studio but when I go into the game my bear is opaque and only shiny from my specular map. I want my bear to be similar to a gummy bear as I'm creating a candy themed room and this is a decor item to be like a gummy. Can anyone advise what I'm missing?

That somewhat gave me what I needed. The PhongGlass setting did the trick for a transparent look, however I find that it dulls the image and the color goes because glass this way gives a different material look rather than allowing me to have that thick gelatin gummy consistency. Playing with the spec/alpha didn't change much with that for me unfortunately.

Did you also try the shader the tutorial suggested? I am not familiar enough with PhongGlass to have any idea whether it's supposed to do the same thing as that one or not.

Hi. This is not my area of knowledge but maybe the shader used for water will be closer to that? The type they use for aquariums or something like that, not sparkly

I realized it wasn't PhongGlass I needed but the other shader, which I did and then it didn't work but I did a dumb move... I didn't reduce the opacity of my texture. So once I did that it worked. It doesn't have that thick gelatin gummy look - I'm not sure that's within the scope of what the game can do, but it works for me. I'll mark solved but if someone has any additional input on how to make it more gummy then feel free to share
