Hello! As you know the Sims 4 lacks functional cars , and I am trying to fix it!
For several days now I have been carefully studying the tutorial prepared by the wonderful Sunrosea, but I feel that from scratch it is too tough for me.
For several days now I have been carefully studying the tutorial prepared by the wonderful Sunrosea, but I feel that from scratch it is too tough for me.
The idea is to make a car that would open and close doors, etc. These are the interactions and animations I'm trying to apply to my object:
- all doors are closed - all doors are open,
- the driver's door is closed - the driver's door is closed,
- the front wheels are straight ahead - the front wheels are turned to the right.
It is very important for me that these functions appear in the game and my request is for someone to help me, i.e. I need someone who could correctly apply all the interactions and animation to my simplest model, and with this example I will try to figure out how it all works, and then using this model I will try to make a functional car myself by analogy.
Now I simply don’t have free time to really try to figure out why I’m my meshes is not working, so I ask for your help. I am asking to apply the specified animations and interactions to my model as shown in the Sunrosea tutorial.
I understand that some may condemn me for the fact that I want to understand how it works using someone else's example so that I can then apply interactions and animation to objects myself.
I create wonderful highly detailed cars, I'm a professional here, but we all need someone's help sometimes.

Below is a render from the blend of the model I want to add functionality to, a link to the .package file and the blender file.
As you can see all the details are extremely simple, so there shouldn't be any problems.
