Hi, this is a problem I've never experienced before. I'm back to making cc and for some weird reason sims4studio is only showing base game items to clone. I have fully updated it to the current version and it still is giving me this issue. Ever since snowy escape I've seen this been an issue. I'm on a mac desktop, by the way. I would appreciate any help because if this isn't fixable then I will just give up making cc. Thank you!

if you have something anti-virus software you may have to add the sims 4 studio to the exception list. For some reason it seems like the anti-virus software is blocking sims 4 studio from indexing files from the game data. I had added the sims 4 studio folder from the program files in windows C I don't know the mac equivalent.

I looked in my security and privacy settings but nothing comes up for s4s. I don't know what the snow escape game patch did but only using base game items to clone is a big let down and restricts making cc. It doesn't seem like many mac users are talking about this problem, unfortunately, so I doubt s4s can fix it on their end if it is coming from that.

I still am unable to clone meshes from non-base game packs. I have no idea how to fix this. I have re-downloaded s4s at least 5 times now to see if there is some error but it still doesn't give me the option of other packs...

I'm not on a Mac so not sure if this will help. For Windows there is a file generated when you first start S4S with all the base and Pack info from your game. It's located at C:\Users\[User]\Documents\Sims 4 Studio\S4Studio_v3.2.sqlite. Deleting this file makes it so the next time you start S4S it rebuilds that file.
Also, even though you might not see any warnings given by the virus scanner, it wouldn't hurt to try putting the program on the exception list.

Hi, I did what you explained and still I am not seeing any packs, only base game. It is really disappointing. I have never had this issue, ever. The only thread I found didn't really help me figure it out. So, out of luck I guess. Appreciate your help though!

Have you uninstalled and reinstalled S4S yet? Have you been able to figure out how to make sure your security software is not treating S4S as a suspicious program? There is plenty more you can do, but because it is not an issue other people have been reporting, the steps are not going to be S4S-specific steps, they will be general software troubleshooting steps.

Hi, yes, I've done it many times now. On the mac, I accepted the program to be installed by allowing it as a non-app store application, so no problem for installing but it won't access the packs I have. There is no setting on a mac regarding making it move past security software besides allowing installation. Once you allow it to be installed it can read all the files (if someone here has a mac and knows otherwise, please let me know). There was a change up with macs where the packs are located in a different place than the base game itself, but from what I've read that moving their location in the long run may harm the game, along with it not working properly. I did try to configure it to read certain packs as a test run and it did not read it. You're correct, not seen many people talk about this issue that is why I am close to giving up and just buying a PC when I have the money to spend. Macs are a big headache with games.

Wow, can't believe I am writing this here but I found out what went wrong. I guess with the whole issue of MACs changing where the pack files are my S4S could not find the packs, so I wanted to double check that they are fully installed. I opened up origin and looked at the Sims panel and it said to 'download' the packs (even though they are already in my game). So I did that and now I can see them in S4S! I can't understand why this happened. It makes no sense to me considering I have been playing the game using these same packs, but origin said I had to download them? Really, no sense. So to anyone w/a MAC having this issue go double check origin to see if you have to initiate a download of some kind. I appreciate those above who have tried to help me figure this out. I really appreciate it.
