So I'm new and stupid to blender but I'm trying to get into making mods and 3D modeling in general. I've followed a number of threads and tutorials but I'm still having the same problem. Any idea why importing a mesh makes the hair do this? Idk I'm doing my best here guys please don't make fun of me imgur.com/PNAzLEj

Hi. Hair consists of 3 meshgroups: original shape and 2 hat chops. Each of them has a cut number assigned to it, which is how s4s knows what 3d models to import from a blend file and in what order. Make sure your original shape is visible, selectable and has the right cut number assigned to it. If it is unclear what i mean, share the blend file please
