Hey Everyone, I am a complete newbie to meshing, I've been working on a few objects over the last week and I am at a stage where I would like some feedback. I know these are a little rough around the edges but any tips I can take on board for new objects would be great. So we have: Trio Side Table
Modern Flat Lounge Set
Caged Pendant Light

Hi, stackmand. Welcome to the forums ^^ I love your designs, especially the light! I noticed a few things you might want to take a look at. For your table and sofa, your texture has a white alpha layer that isn't necessary because your object isn't transparent. This can cause texture issues in lower settings so you need to delete the alpha channel and save as a dxt1-no alpha. On your table, you have a bump and spec map that are black but don't have an alpha channel, this can also cause glitchy textures - I recommend downloading om's blank ones here: sims4studio.com/thread/1079/get-eas-bump-specular-maps. If you want them to be completely matte, just make sure the alpha channel is black and not white. I also noticed on your sofa that you're missing either an bump map or a spec. You can either add it manually, or reclone an ea object and import everything back in. I just updated our FAQ section with some tips that might help: sims4studio.com/post/23494/threadLet me know if you have questions about any of this.

Thanks for taking the time Omorfi-Mera, I'll look at fixing those things now. Also those links will certainly come in handy :D Such a long process when you're starting out. Thanks again
