Hi,
I want to start making cc recolours again. I used to use brand names in my titles on the Sims 4 Catalog (see others doing so) and use like google images of certain textures of their clothing but make it my own etc. However, I now want to use adfly on my links as my downloads were popular and wondered whether this would be allowed?
Thanks in advance,

Trying to make a profit on items that use trademarked names and logos you don't own the trademark to is probably a bad plan, legally speaking, but only an actual trademark lawyer can tell you exactly how bad a plan it would really turn out to be if the owners of those trademarks notice, so unless one of those happens to be hanging out here, you're probably not going to get a legitimate answer.
Or if what you mean by "allowed" is whether you'll run afoul of TOUs and other rules on websites for the same thing, then you'd need to actually read the TOUs for the sites you plan to use, starting with adf.ly itself.
On the other hand, if you're asking specifically whether the S4S forum, itself, would allow that if you were to post your content to a studio here, then that is a question the mods would be able to answer.

1. Legally speaking you can't use logos and brand names since all of them trademarked. 2. Real situation is that companies won't look for hobbyists who illegally use the logos and other trademarked stuff. I worked for a big jewelry company (millions $ of profit per year) when we got a notification from Chopard to stop selling the watches that used patented technology. It was 50 pages legal document with a picture of every single watch listed on the website. Patent lawyer charges from $350 to $500 per hour, this document takes hours to put together. That's the reason why big companies never contact small hobbyists unless they see that you make tons of money. That's why you don't see the stories that someone had to remove brand name content.
