Hi. It seems that some blend files belong to a different item. But both items have the same issues going on, so the following applies to both.
The mesh does not morph because it is vertex painted with the wrong color. Could you please link me to a tutorial you followed because it is my 6565656 time seeing people vertex paint the mesh with the same exact wrong hex code and I cannot track where all of you learnt to do that to ask the author to change the tutorial.
Anyway:
- never join the garment with the body until you make the former fully functional; - you need inner geometry only in places where it is visible, otherwise it just unnecessary increases polycount; - speaking of, your garment does not need to be so high-poly, there are no fine details to preserve; - do not use automatic retopology in MD, it fails to fulfil all purposes of the retopology and actually makes it worse by adding a lot of polygons along the borders that once again unnecessary increase the polycount; - transfer weights and uvs with Nearest face interpolated; - all parts of the body covered by clothing should be deleted. Then you need to put the garment's uvs in the freed space. Try to not put uvs in the bottom right corner because everyone puts everything there and we end up with CAS full of items that cannot be used together; - bake textures after you check the mesh in-game. Sometimes people do all this work with texture only to then discover that their item cannot be adapted to ts4 or that they need to change something dramatically. So check how the garment works and then bake; - and, again, it's 00ff00, not 00ff04.
Also, for the future, we only need to see the package in which the issue occurs and the blend file that you imported in it. We need to see what the blend file was before you got it in s4s because the software changes it
