Well, the title speaks for itself. I need some help puting my mesh in blender 2.7. I work in blender 2.9 because I find it easy and more user friendly. I have watched some tutorials that explain this (using copy and paste) but that isnt really working. Maybe is because my mesh is high poly? Any way, I dont know how much info should I give but I hope someone can help me, and if its anything else that you need to know Im willing to provide that info!
Thanks!

Use append function. You can't open the files created in 2.8+ version in older versions of Blender. You can only append the mesh.

Use 2.76. There are 2 officially working versions and 2.76 works for everyone and 2.70 and 2.79 work for some people.

I'm also having this problem, difference is my mesh won't append at all in 2.70, 2.76 and 2.79, I can only load them as obj files which means I can't bake my mesh

We generally do not have any problem with it, so make sure you're doing things right:
- make sure that in s4s settings Bender path leads to 2.76, close s4s. The software will put its plugin in the addons folder; - open s4s again, clone something, export the blend file; - open 2.8+, File - Append - the exported blend - object - everything in the list beside the lights unless you need them; - do what you need to do, save the file, close 2.8+; - open 2.76, open the exported blend, File - Append - Object - only the meshgroup(s), assign the type and cut number(s) to the meshgroup(s), delete the original meshgroup(s), save the file, import in s4s.

I tried in blender 2.76 and its the same thing that in blender 2.70, I save the file, then go to s4s and try to import the mesh, it starts loading and then nothing, it stops and nothing change.
Im having issues with this step. I dont understand what you mean with "assign the type and cut number(s) to the meshgroup(s)". And also, "the original mesgroup" is the one I exported from from s4s or the one I made?

You cannot import it because you did not assign the type and the cut number(s). The sims 4 studio uses them to recognize what 3d models to import and in what order. The original meshgroup(s) is the one you exported from s4s, the one that was already there

I have uploaded the mesh into sims4 studio now, it was the problem with the cut numbers. I guess its not okay to have 96000 polygons on my mesh and thats the reason why s4s took so long to upload it. But thats another problem Ill figure how to resolve later. So much tanks!
