I was handling my ... humongous ... list of CC this week, trying to get newer ones, saving the websites (Full Knowling that the new EPI would break them all... sigh) just getting ready and I realised. I expent ... HOURS merging my CC into batchs of 200MG so my game runs almost like vanilla ... but it's a tedious and long job.. so Here would be my feature request;
-- Make a Batch Merger, where you select a folder with all your CC in it, then select the size of the merged *.package you want, for example, 100MG, 200MG, then Studio would grab in order (alphabetical, date, size I don't know what would be easier) and merge them in bulk! =)
I don't know if it's doable, but crazy CC'rs like myself would manage a Vanilla running game without having to stay hours<3 Y_Y preparing their packages!
<3 Thank you all for the AMAZING tool that is Sims4Studio <3

I'd like the tags for custom content to just match the in-game categories so I know for sure where everything is going to end up Yes Pleeese. I love S4s! You guys have done a fantastic job, this is such an awesome tool and I thank you all for your hard work and dedication.
I've RCed a few objects, but that's it...so far! However, I'm a little OCD with organizing, lol and have a ton of cc. I can not find toddler or pet furniture tags in the "my cc" or warehouse. Am I nuts or blind or are they just not there? I've searched and read for hours looking for an answer...nothing found :(
It would be so helpful if the tags matched the game sets. Thanks again and thanks to all the modders for great cc! I'll never attain your level of creativity, but I do enjoy building and decorating!

Hola, mi sugerencia y/o deseo sería que el S4S pudiera detectar los archivos que no funcionan bien o causan conflicto y poder borrarlos todos al mismo tiempo.
Hello, my suggestion and / or wish would be that the S4S could detect the files that do not work well or cause conflict and be able to delete them all at the same time.

I'm very appreciative of S4S. I take serious care of my mod folder and this would be impossible without this tool. Thank you SO much for all your hard work!
My two main suggestions:
1.) As mentioned, some creators (whether accidentally or otherwise) miscategorize their CC, making it show up in game under tags that they really dont belong in. Being able to search by tag in S4S would allow users to adjust an entire category with more efficiency. (bonus wish, batch fix tags!) 2.) I'm unaware of the mechanics behind this so I hope I'm not requesting the impossible. Being able to identify linked items (ie., the mesh .package for a recolor). When deleting unwanted items that would prevent deleting a mesh for a recolor. Maybe a warning stating that this .package is linked to another?
Again, I'm in awe of your good work and my game has forever changed because of your efforts. THANK YOU!

Please feel welcome to post thoughts on custom content management features that you would like to see. This probably isnt necessary to ask but just incase, a c/c batch-fix for mermaids? thank you.

I dont know if this will make sense but ill give it a shot. It would be if s4s could detect broken or missing cc, I have a few ccin my game in the CAS that just have a X, or some that show the thumbnail but the cc is ghost(if that makes sense). Just an idea that i hope makes sense to someone lol. This would be pretty great if it could happen, and I've wished for that for a long time. However, if this can help, since there is no such feature at this time, the best way you have of getting rid of or fixing these cc would be to simply go into your game, see if there is any name (like a username or signature) on the cc's cas image, and try to associate the cc with the matching package in your mods folder. If you still can't find it, I know that TSR keeps your download history, so if you remember downloading your broken cc from there, you can try to associate the cc with one of your downloads. If you find it, then your problem is resolved. It can be hard, as much as it can be easy. I hope this was clear and helps you. It would be amazing if s4s could have that feature though. To keep that issue from happening as much as possible, make sure you check if the cc you're about to download is a retexture or recolor, and if it is, to download the original mesh (except if it's a retexture or recolor of a base game object, in this case, the issue should not appear).

Using Mac version
- Batch category changer (using multi selection somehow) - Manage by category, not just file structure
- Move category section higher, or make wherever I've scrolled to stay put between CC - Alternatively add those spiffy tabs from the custom workflow, but make sure the chosen tab stays the same between CC
- Make Saved popup > OK button work (currently stalls out and I have to force quit) - View multiple CC at once with multi select (ignore mesh positioning)

Could we please get a way to disable cc for mermaids? I've noticed some alien only cc shows on them.

Custom batch fixes would be great for doing many tag fixes at once or re-categorizing certain facial details, tattoos, or makeup and if it were able to adjust the layering this way too that would be perfection . Can't tell you how often I download a pack only to see all the skin details in one category and changing them one by one is tedious.

Could we please get a way to disable cc for mermaids? I've noticed some alien only cc shows on them. I second this post. I made the mistake of converting a lot of CC to mermaid enabled which causes some portion of the CC thumbnails to have a mermaid tail in them. It'd be real appreciated if a disable cc for mermaids batch fix could be added at some point.

A way to find all CC with a certain tag. Like what shadav and chicsims said! It would be way easier to organize cc if I could just load everything tagged "Hair" and drop it into my hair folder.

I would love to have a batch fix that takes off all environmental mood buff tuning from custom objects. A lot of custom objects are cloned from mood changing objects, and it's driving me crazy when I can't turn it off or don't even know which object causes it.

WHY on EARTH does Sims 4 Studio not support automatic sorting of mods?
Or even MANUAL sorting?
It can open every single file in my mod folder all at once. It can show me with a single click what that item is, and how it's categorized in game. So why can't it sort things using that information?
It doesn't even give you the option to click and drag things to sort them manually, or right click and send to another folder or something. It's just for looking at. Why not USE this information? Imagine being able to click a button and Sims4Studio spends 10 minutes automatically putting files in folders based on what kind of furniture and clothing it is. Why can't it do this when it can display all that information instantly?
Easily half the requests in this thread are for functionality like this. Is this EVER going to be a thing?

Not sure where else to ask, so I guess this is good. The "My CC" is great for viewing merged content. I like the "Studio" view, but there is one thing that I instantly noticed was missing, and that was a way to view the group and instance ID's like in the "Warehouse" view. While knowing the file name is most helpful, would it be possible to have a view toggle to go from Studio to Data much like you can with a single file? If not, I would settle for a simple display of the group, instance ID's that I could copy. That would be most helpful in tracking down busted CC in a merged file. Thanks for the amazing utility!
