Hi, I'm new to making CC. I recently made my first bit of cc - a recolour of the new metal bunk bed in two swatches- and it went fine, works in game. However, I've gone to do the bottom bunk, and it seemed ok, but when I try and use the CC in game it tells me the footprint resource is missing, despite the original EA bed being right there. I've checked its file in S4S and its footprint thing is there so all should be well. This is driving me crazy, can anyone help please?

For the moment the CC Bed does not work under the top bunk bed. The sims never find the way.

Yes I had the same issue with my first recolor of the same kind of bed. It worked all this time but not anymore after the patch which is why I created a new package, but this time I checked selective clone, not recolor. The regular recolor doesn't work anymore, but the selective clone & create a 3D mesh works. Create a new package check "selective clone" - that will at least let you place the bed again elswhere, although it wont work underneith the bunk, sadly.

Never done this before, but couldn't you just export a resource from an EA item and import it into your package? Seems I've encountered many such discussions on this forum before. Do a search on importing resources.

I already tried that, it didn't work. although the suggestion further up is somewhat helpful, it doesn't truly resolve this issue as the bottom bunk needs to be full functional with the top one. It probably needs a 32-bit instance.
