Hi there everyone!
I am currently playing around with some custom animations I put together to animate a zabuton (agura and/or seiza sitting style) for a 'blankless kotatsu' (or chabudai).
I already did everything from ASM to clip import and adjusting some needed posture, object and interaction tunings. Everything works well basically. But I have two problems I am not able to solve for the life of me.
First thing making me cry is a snap event I am trying to set to my clips so you won't see the 'position switching' of the rig. I already calculated the 'snap frame' with the default TickCount and unfortunately it just doesn't snaps on point. You can see the switchin when my sims get in and out of the seats, see and .
Is there some kind of trick to get the snap event smooth enough so it would not be visible?
Second thing is my sitting posture. So far everything works out with talking, eating, writing etc. So the override for the upper body works well. But I cannot get the lower body to stop moving when the upper body gets an animation override. The lower part just slidles a little in some directions, please see (best to be seen with the little girl). I already fumbled with my ASM and could not stop this from happening.
Maybe someone out there has an idea to solve this?
greetings!
