While trying to take pictures I noticed that certain windows produce a light glare that obliterates any wall details, but when using a mirror as a piece of decor I saw why. My question is, is this normal and why? Do Maxis now make one cut out and then use it for any size window? I looked at a few and the base windows seem to be the better ones, they appear to have a cut out out that fits their size. The Eco Lifestyle windows with the false window shelves are the worse in my game, some of them have gaps so huge the rooms flood with light making it hard to play. Or am I just seeing a false image in the mirrors? The pictures show what I'm trying to explain.

What you are seeing in the mirror is an EA bug with mirrors. Since all your pictures are of the mirror bug, I don't really understand what the other issue you're describing is, but it's probably not related to the mirror bug; mirrors and windows/doors are just broken together and have been for many months.

OK thanks, I'd not seen it before and wondered if it was the reason some windows let in so much light that it produces glare. Its an odd bug, mirrors unable to see the walls next to windows. It's the sort of thing you couldn't make up
