Hello S4S,
The recent sims 4 game update from may 2021 broke all my cc furniture and cc build/buy objects (including the ones I created myself). If I try to enter the build/buy menu with cc furniture and/or cc build/buy objects, the game freezes instantly. I play TS4 on Windows 10. Since I'm not very good at modding or coding myself, I don't know how to fix all the furniture and objects myself.
I hope you can help me!
Sincerely,
MysticSim96

Never heard of broken CC causing your game to freeze just for entering the build/buy menu. If your game freezes it sounds more like a UI mod problem. Do you have Weerbesu's UI mod and have you updated it recently?

If you don't use Weerbesu's mod, try this:
1. Quit the game. 2. Rename your Mods folder to ModsX. Your mods won't be processed by the game. 3. Create a new folder and name it Mods 4. Take the first half of what's in ModsX and move it into your newly created Mods folder 5. Re-start the game. If nothing breaks, you know the problem is in what you didn't move, and vice versa.
If nothing broke: 6. Take another half of what's left in the ModsX folder, move it to your Mods folder.
Wash, rinse, repeat until you pare down the collection of causing the issue.
Another way to do it:
1. Sort all of your mods in your mods folder by date descending, meaning it will sort all of the newest mods firsts. 2. Look at the dates. Are some of the dates recent? Remove any mods dated more recently, say, within the last month and put them off in another folder outside of your Mods folder. 3. Keep doing this until you isolate the offending mod.

In terms of fixing the furniture, use Sims4Studio to apply a batch fix against everything at once. The batch fix is located in Sims4Studio under Content Management / Batch Fixes / Objects / Fix Chairs (March 2021 Patch)
