I'm creating a fast food cup, and parts of it should be transparent in the texture. I want to use that book as a base, since it's the one that always works better for me: I've tried using this book before for the same thing but the transparency didn't work. I tried following this tutorial. This book doesn't have the "AlphaBlended", so I added it. Nothing changed. What can the problem be? I'm still editing the mesh, but I wanted to clone this book. Thanks.

Hi. Share the blend file after you edited it, please. Just to make sure, did you edit the diffuse's alpha/transparency layer as well?

I don't know what I did wrong hah That's why I decided to start over. Here's the package file, but I think I'll edit it again to a lower poly version. The only part that I want to be transparent is this area (the rest of the top are will be white):

Can’t check the file right now, but just to make sure, did you check the file in-game? Transparency is not previewed in s4s

Sorry for the wait, was hoping someone more experienced in the field of making build/buy cc would take a look but no one seems to be around today. Anyway, i compared the tuning to what they should be and, besides Alphablended, everything else is missing. You should start over from step 3. Perhaps it is best to clone something that comes with transparency, otherwise that's a lot of things to edit

Surely you should be able to change the shader from phong to phongalpha? That's usually how I add transparency.
But yeah, as mauvemorn said, you can just clone a clutter item with transparency. There's an EA fruit bowl and some other items that should work for you.

Warehouse > Model/Model LOD > Data > Meshes > Phong > Scroll down to Material > Resource > Entries > For all variantIDs change Shader from Phong to PhongAlpha Do that for all the LODs
